Featuring an inline mixed-flow design, the duct fan can maintain airflow even in high static pressure applications. Contains an EC-motor with PWM-control for quiet and energy-efficient performance. The motor box containing the fan’s impeller and blades can be detached from the mounted frame for easy cleaning and maintenance. Includes a smart controller with dynamic climate and time-based programming, and can connect to one additional fan. Complete kit includes one duct fan unit, one thermal controller, one corded thermal probe, two duct clamps, installation manual, and all necessary mounting hardware. This product is a part of the UIS™ platform of grow devices and smart controllers, designed to integrate with each other to achieve your ideal environment.Smart ControllerFeatures smart programming that not only has basic temperature and humidity triggers, but also allows you to set dynamic fan speeds that would respond based on their changes. Go even further by setting a minimum speed that the fan will run at constantly and would only increase when triggered. Review: Top notch quality and an overall very impressive package - This is really an impressive package from top to bottom. I've been buying AC Infinity products for many years now and have always been completely satisfied with everything, this is no exception. The difference is this is the largest, most important, and most expensive thing I've ever bought from them. I bought the 12" Pro fan to use as a return booster fan for my home's ducted heat pump. I wanted it particularly to boost the return air upstairs in my house to assist with cooling and dehumidification because it gets so much warmer on the second floor. I programmed it to always be running at minimum speed, trigger at 70F and then increase in speed by 1 notch for every 1 degree F rise in temperature beyond 70F, up to a maximum of speed 8. It will also revert to minimum speed at night, regardless of temperature. Setting all of this up was very easy in the app. I didn't even attempt it with the controller because I could tell it would be much more difficult. My recommendation is...just use the app. It was incredibly easy to set up and only took a minute. The quality of the fan is superb. I actually bought spring vibration isolators to mount it on since I installed it in my second floor in a crawl space (just sitting on the floor). I wanted to make sure vibration would not be a problem. However, it turns out I didn't even need the springs, the fan runs so smooth that there is no vibration or noise transmission through the house at all, even on the higher speed settings. The air noise gets loud on the higher speeds (7+), but the fan still runs so smooth that it is virtually silent downstairs. This is very impressive for a fan like this. About the package contents...you get a LOT. Way more than you will actually need. They include VERY long cables (the temp/humidity probe is about 25 feet), several different mounting options including a strap for hanging it and heavy duty screws, two 12" duct straps, and a bunch of zip ties and accessories for cleaning up the cables. All in all its a very impressive package. They do make duct fans of equivalent size that are capable of moving a lot more air than this, but those are very expensive commercial/industrial units and do not include this level of controllability and customization out of the box. If you want or need something like this for your home I can confidently say this is the best option on the market. I can't yet comment on longevity, but this fan will be running continuously in my home from now until November, so we'll see how it does. Based on my experience with several other AC Infinity products I own, I expect this thing will run perfectly for many years without issue. But I will update this review accordingly.
Review: Very quiet on the lower settings - Moves lots of air on high, very quiet under speed setting 5. Fan feeds air to a 10 inch duct on speed setting 10 it lifted the blew the registers out of the floor. Fan is set to turn on and off with the HVAC on speed setting 3. Works great easy to set up.

**Q: hello,i gonna use it in my grow room.
do i really need the carbon filter while using this fan?
if yes,can i use other brands carbon filter with it?**
A: This machine just blows air in or out.  The carbon filter get rid of smell. Two different things.  Yes, you can use a different filter mix and match equipment.

**Q: Is there no option to buy 2 fans and 1 controller?**
A: No there is no option for buying 2 fans and 1 controller. If you do buy 2 fans I would get 2 s models and buy the controller separately. Saves a little bit of money and get the same results!

**Q: I have read the reviews discussing the sizing issues with the inlet/outlet sizes being more 12.25 instead of 12.  Has this issue been corrected?**
A: If your trying to put that 12 inch flexible ducting you basically cant and just have to get aluminum tape. Its not that big of an issue though. With the tape it stays put.

**Q: Can this fan be used to exhaust kitchen hoods (e.g. inline connected to a hood liner)?**
A: I would not use such an expensive fan for a kitchen exhaust hood. The condensation and grease steam alone would gum it up and ruin it. They sell hood exhaust fans

This is really an impressive package from top to bottom. I've been buying AC Infinity products for many years now and have always been completely satisfied with everything, this is no exception. The difference is this is the largest, most important, and most expensive thing I've ever bought from them. I bought the 12" Pro fan to use as a return booster fan for my home's ducted heat pump. I wanted it particularly to boost the return air upstairs in my house to assist with cooling and dehumidification because it gets so much warmer on the second floor.
