Great product. Questionable manual and wierd review options
The charger works great. It brings unprotected batteries in for a nice soft landing. Very reliable and trustworthy. A couple of issues that make me want to give this a 4.7ish (but its 4 or 5 and its not a 5). The manual tells you how to change modes. It does nothing in explaining what those modes are or how to read them. To take advantage of all the features of this charger, a user will be required to do some self study.Review scoring options. How do I rate the battery life? Of a battery charger? I'll just let that one sink in

Universal charger works well
Lots of pros for this charger, which is why I bought a second one. It can charge most common rechargeable battery types, such as 1.2V NiMH (or NiCd), 3.2V LiFePO4, and 3.7V Li-ion. We use one of these types in most of our flashlights, so this can charge them all. I like that it is USB-powered, so it can be used with a wall-wart, computer's USB port, and the USB ports for charging found in cars, on power banks, and on portable solar panels.

Use extreme caution charging 1.3v NiMH batteries
Even though this charger say it can be used to charge 1.3V NiMH batteries like the common rechargeable AA batteries used everywhere, the circuit/logic it uses to check if the batteries are NiMH or the 4.2V lithium ions aren’t accurate. It can misidentify NiMH batteries and over charge them to 4.2 volts, this will kill your NiMH batteries at best or cause them overheat and catch fire at worse. In the photo above, you can see it charging 2 identical Amazon branded AA batteries, the one on the left is charging correctly as NiMH, but the one in the right is mistakenly identified as lithium ion and being charged 3x the voltage!

Does not show percentage of charge
It shows everything but the percentage of charge so I have no idea how close a battery is to being ready to be switched out. I have a previous version of this same brand charger and it does show percentage. I didn't think it would bug me but it turns out I hate not knowing if a battery is almost full and doesn't need charged or if it is nearly dead and it will take a while to charge. All the other displayed information is far less important to me. Unfortunately, it looks like it is no longer eligible for return.

Great battery charger.
One of the main selling points for me was the reverse charging. Although it doesn't work with aa or aaa batteries reverse charge it still does with 18650 and 21700. It's a nice little charger to have around if you have a few batteries you need charged.
