CastelliClimber's 3.0 SL Jersey

Air flows right thru the mesh fabric for a stylish cool summer ride. Note that Castelli clothing is made to fit the serious in shape (low body mass index) cycling enthusiast if you go by their sizing charts.

I'm writing this at the tail-end of a brutal central Texas summer where we had 100 degree + temps for months. This jersey worked so well that I bought three of them, and they made all the difference in making summer rides bearable in the Texas heat. I paired them with a PI temp-regulating base layer, and that helped as well. Note that these are definitely race cut. I'm not built for that by any means, but the ventilation these provided was enough to get me over my self-consciousness -- just know that they are both form-fitting AND fairly transparent. I've worn all 3 at least once per week, machine-washed them in cold in a mesh bag, and they have held up the full summer -- better than I expected from them, considering how lightweight the mesh is. Pockets are adequately deep, but not heavily reinforced, so given the lightweight, you will feel some sag if you load them up. Zipper is. typically lightweight Euro- type, and you definitely want to be careful with it. So, excellent ventilation and comfort, solid construction for its lightweight/mesh style, and extremely form-fitting and transparent. Highly recommended if you ride in a very hot climate.

Castelli does run small. Nice jersey.

La maglia in effetti è come una seconda pelle, leggerissima e super aderente, veste molto più stretta di altri modelli Castelli sempre in taglia S, in discesa non svolazza nessun punto della maglia. Provata in una giornata torrida, consigliata, anche se dopo solo il primo utilizzo risultano delle piccolissime sfilacciature in corrispondenza di spalle e schiena, non so se dovute al lavaggio o all’utilizzo

Moderna e leggerissima

Ottima qualità, molto leggera e comoda.✅️ PRO:- Materiali, fattura, disegno e dettagli top.- Molto leggera, adatta a giornate molto calde.❌️ CONTRO:- Prezzo elevato.- Cercavo una maglia "impalpabile", come fossi a torso nudo, per le giornate torride. Non sono sicuro che la spesa valga il beneficio: nel senso che è leggera, sì, ma forse non così tanto più fresca rispetto ad altre maglie estive nella media. Capiamoci: è super leggera, qualcosa più delle altre, ma non c'è un abisso rispetto alla media.✴️ IN SINTESI:- Ottima maglia. Ma non aspettatevi il miracolo se, come me, cercate una maglia che sia super fresca. Del resto quando fa caldo fa caldo, c'è poco da fare.
