11 x SabreCut Zippy SCRKZ1 Countersink Set with Adjustable Pilot Impact Drill Bits

I'm new to woodworking so take my review with a grain of salt, but these bits didn't perform as well as another flat bottom bit I had also purchased for use on this DIY project I'm currently working on. Although they get the job done, they also leave a rough, uneven surface at the entry of each countersink hole that was drilled into this piece of finished and coated maple board. It won't matter in the end as these holes won't be visible once the project is installed onto the wall, but it would have been nice had these bits produced cleaner cuts into the wood.

The 'cutting edge' on these is not sharp, it's just a 90 degree angle, and to make matters worse, the cutting edge is painted for some reason. They therefore do not cut clean. Come in a nice case, but that does not make up for the poor performance of these bits. Not worth the money unfortunately

Smallest countersink bit is badly misaligned. Changed the drill bit incase it was just a bad drill bit but got the same outcome. The tip of the drill bit is rotating in circles instead of staying dead center drilling a much bigger hole and pretty much impossible to drill on your mark. Bough a set of paper weights!

Have been using these for some months now and they perform well. although the smallest bit did break but my fault and no the product. Good selection of various size bits and the countersink works well but better in softer wood as they struggle bit in very hard wood. Based on my experience and the price - I would recommend.

Nicely packaged with spare drill bits, but cutters are not well shaped so trailing edge fouls and reduces cutting face effectiveness. Not very sharp and require a lot of pushing to cut harder materials. OK for the price.
