Heliocare Antioxidant Supplement for The Skin 60 Capsules (2 Pack)

Without trying to sound too exaggerated this stuff is really a great product for sun sensitive people. They market the product as a skin antioxidant but I was told by my dermatologist to use it when going outdoors. I have rosacea type 1. After 10-15 minutes of sunlight I usually start flaring/flushing and my skin just gets so irritated by the sun rays. I started using Heliocare and I can finally do stuff outside again. Music fests, skiing, sports, hiking, swimming. I mean this stuff actually friggin works. I take one 30 min before going outside and then up to 1 or 2 more throughout the day depending on length of time in sun. I never go outside when its sunny without this stuff. Of course I use sunscreen but this stuff together with sunscreen is my recipe. I really really hope the manufacturer of this product reads these reviews and sees what we are saying. I will be a customer for life. Please DONT stop making this.Another note, Walgreens stopped carrying it so I had to resort to the internet.Here's a hint to the company big wigs that make this stuff: get the word out to derms, "skin spas", estheticians, and basically everyone involved with cosmetics and skin. Tell them this stuff works. Get the word out! I was barely able to go outside before this stuff came along. In a way it got me back enjoying life again. thanks amazon for carrying this stuff

I have been using this product for many years. My former dermatologist was in his 80s and had the most amazing skin. I asked him how he did it and he told me about Heliocare. When I went home I immediately ordered it on Amazon and have been taking it every day since. I use an SPF but also rely on Heliocare to help block the sun’s rays. Seems to be working!

Just returned to MI from FL. Used this everyday along with sunscreen. 2 pills approximately 2 hours prior to going in the sun all day. Didn't burn and got an amazing tan. Where I was in FL they had record breaking high temperatures 8 days in a row. I read an article regarding skin cancer survivors. One was a dermatologist who said from now on, she'll take Heliocare and wear sunscreen so I decided to give it a try. I used it in MI everyday I knew I was going in the sun. Always used sunscreen though because I have fair skin. I really think this works. I'll be using it next summer as well.

Researched this product & was anxious to try. Not sure if it's working. And we've had very little sunshine. Might see results after the 2nd bottle.

I have discoid lupus, and the sun is not my friend. My dermatologist recommended using Heliocare, along with wearing a hat and using sunscreen, every day - especially during summer months. As long as I use the Heliocare, I have no problems. If I run out of Heliocare, I will get lesions when I'm outside - even if I'm wearing a hat and using sunscreen. She recommended an increased dosage during beach vacations, which has resulted in success. My sun sensitive daughter has also used it while at the beach and stayed sunburn free.

This product was recommended by my dermatologist as an additional layer of protection against sun damage. Too soon to know how well it works but it arrived quickly, has no discernible taste, is easy to swallow and the price, if it works well, is fair.
