MAGSOL Plastic-Free Natural Deodorant for Women - 100% Aluminum Free, Baking Soda Free, Plastic Free - 2.8 oz (Lavender)

Magsol deodorant works great! I can get stinky in one day but one application of Magsol per day keeps me smelling fresh.I love the idea of plastic free packaging but as some others have said the tube isn't flawless, it's cardboard, what do you expect?Tip: you have to hold it tight when applying so the deodorant doesn't get pushed down and when you get to the bottom third you better have long fingers or you won't be able to push the remaining deodorant out far enough to use. I cut off some of the tube and that's worked well enough for me to be able to use the remainder.It would be great if there was a perforation on the tube already to allow for this easy access or some other design change to make it fully usable.

When I first purchased this (sweet orange scent) I didn't see anything about it being for a women, so either I missed it or they've changed the description, but I'm hooked regardless. I was reluctant because of the price, but I'm very happy with the purchase and I'm on my third. I use it twice a day and it lasted well over a month which was shocking considering it's size. Smells great, and I'm extremely active, I work in a stressful gym environment, as well as contracting work, yardwork, weight lifting etc and I'm never stinky. I try to keep all natural and I avoid plastic as much as possible so this is perfect. Great product, now start marketing it to men as well.

I have used ALL the natural deoderants and this is one of my favorites, but still not without a few minor drawbacks:The pros:-All natural ingredients-No baking soda, so safe for sensitive skin-Smells great and has natural scents that aren't harmful for your health-Very effective for a natural deoderant- I don't smell!-Plastic-free dispenser is easy to useThe cons:-It's very thick, so it can cake up on clothes and can cause stains, and can also cause you to use the product up quickly. To negate this problem, I apply only a small amount with my fingers-The deoderant eventually separated from the dispenser which made application slightly more difficult, however I am personally willing to deal with some degree of inconvenience to prevent more plastic waste in our oceansOverall, one of my favorites.

I normally really like this deodorant. It keeps me dry, fresh, and I love the plastic freepackaging. I like the lemongrass scent. Twice now, I received sticks that smelled absolutely rancid. The smell was gross and I couldn’t use them. The first time I reached out to the company and received a response they would send a replacement. They did, but it took them about a month. Now after having the same issue with a second stick, I’ll be looking for an alternative.

That’s what you need to know. Beyond the softness issues it works wonders! Surprisingly, it is also good for controlling foot odour. I thought the company was focusing on anti-plastic as well but it seems they only offer these smaller tubes in paper. I ordered the larger size and that came in a plastic container. That’s the one I use for my feet. So, I am torn. Do I buy more of these or try and find a company that makes a similar product but is trying harder to be more “bio-conscientious?”

I ordered the Jasmine scent because I’m from the Caribbean and now living in America I’ve been missing the scent of the jasmine tree that grew by my bedroom windows when I was a kid. I am delighted by the Magsol scent, lasting protection and especially how smoothly it glides on. I also bought another brand primarily for the health benefits of magnesium for my debilitating pain from my numerous disabilities but that doesn’t glide on well no matter how long I hold it against my dry, just showered skin. Odor protection lasted longer than 24 hours, and I still smelled nice the following morning. It’s winter in Central NY State right now so I don’t perspire as much. The real deodorant test for odor control will be during the hot NY summer. Remember, this is NOT an antiperspirant-it does NOT clog your pores preventing you from excessive sweating. Yet it does seem to minimize wetness a fair amount. I’ll update as the seasons progress to warmer temperatures. Highly recommend.

I've used Magsol for years and have generally been pretty happy with it. Not so with the plastic-free packaging. I ordered 4 tubes, 2 of the jasmine and 2 of the sweet orange.(a) The jasmine was in okay condition and was actually usable, at least. However, as you use the deodorant, because there's no screw top or way for it to hold itself up, it just pushes itself down when you try to apply the product. This gets more and more frustrating as more product is used and requires more and more effort to secure the bottom with your hand as you apply the deodorant. Just way more hassle than it's worth.(b) The sweet orange, on the other hand, was entirely unusable. When I opened the top, I saw that it had literally fully dried out and could not even be applied. The second tube was the same. I didn't actually even go through the full tube of jasmine before opening the sweet orange up, so it was maybe 45 days after purchase that I opened it - of course, beyond the return window, so there's $30 down the drain.(c) for the lack of quality in the cardboard packaging, I was shocked at how much I paid for this. Yes, inflation sucks, and prices are up everywhere, but $15 for a nonfunctional push-pop deodorant, and $30 for unusable product is insane.It's worth noting that I've had problems with the plastic packaging, too - I've had one tube that just refuse to engage and never rolled up, so that was unusable, too. This is too expensive a product to have consistent quality control issues.Bottom line: after years of loyalty to Magsol, I'm moving on. I'll find another natural deodorant that doesn't have the same packaging and quality control issues.

Wrote a previous review saying it was hard to unwrap but turns out it pushes up😀 still truly the best deodorant I have ever had. I’ve had it since august 2023 and it’s still not done. Prevents stink, smells good, but if you put too much it might soak into your clothes and smell weird. Will buy again.

Wow! This works as a charm. No unnecessary ingredients and no mess. Clean deodorant stick. It works perfectly to combat odour successfully. Am happy with this product. 🙌

The product works great?

I tried to use it and it irritated my armpit because is not melting smoothly like other deodorants, I had to break it with my fingers and try to apply it like a thick body lotion. I bought the brand because the reviews said it was very ecological and healthy, but I stink a couple of hours after wearing it, so I don't see the point of even trying to wear it. I'm back to the other eco options I had.So not a good experience, is still accumulating dust on my shelf.
