IT WORKED!!My Bose Wave stereo CD player is working again!I was trying to find a cd lens cleaner for a Bose system, I didn’t realize it mattered until reading reviews that other cleaners could possibly harm this system. I’m just excited to be listening to some of my cds again. No more skipping, jumping, freezing or stalling. YES!

My old TASCAM Commercial CD player has worked well over the years. Recently it has stopped at different points during play. I was about to tear into it and then thought maybe the lens is dirty so ordered this disc cleaner. I ran it through 2 cycles once the disc error was finally resolved and no more problems. I encountered a problem that I can't explain. When I first tried it on the player it would not work and gave me a "Disc Error". I tried it on another disc player and it worked fine then tried it again on the TASCAM and it worked great and no more stopping during play. The instruction with the disc is not correct as it goes immediately to track 1 in English then when instructed to go to track 3, the process is finished. An additional unexpected benefit is the audio output is several dB higher to my amp so I had to turn the volume down on the amp. Well worth the price to correct a problem.

Easy to use. You have to do it a few times if it's been a long since you have cleaned your DVD player.

This disc fixed my 30+yr old JVC CD player issue. CD player started getting stuck/repeating/not advancing on multiple CDs so I knew it was a player issue and not the CDs.Bought this disc and popped it in the player. Fixed the player issues immediately!The audio instructions are terrible so just do this:- Put the CD in the player (brush side down of course).- IGNORE the audio instructions and let the disc play. It should play track 1 for about 1:03, then it will play track 2 which will play/clean (in silence) for about 9:14 then it stops. Once track 2 appears to have stopped playing for a while (around 9:14), select track 3 (which stops the cleaning process). Track 3 does not play and the disc will go back to track 1. Cleaning is now complete and you can eject the disc and try playing your own CDs.WELL WORTH the low price!

My Sony boombox has no playing issues, but I decided to use a lens cleaner disc and purchased the Maxwell Lens Cleaner CD-340. It played the introduction with soft music and instructions, telling me to go to "3" after the music ended. I did so and skipped to "3" and after a few hours of it not stopping on it's own, I stopped the disc, fearing I could harm my actually fine functioning Sony player. I put in normal musical disc afterward finding that my CD doesn't appear to be harmed by the Maxwell CD-340, yet I would hesitate to use it again. It is not returnable, so this may be a helpful review. Good luck!

I thought with a name like Maxwell, that it would be good, no so in this case!I put into several different CD and DVD players, it would come back with either "No Disk" or "Cannot Play this Disk".I wanted a Disc Cleaner to clean my CD & DVD Players, but this was a total waste of money!Update: I was about ready to throw the CD cleaner in the trash, when I noticed a clear fine "plastic" sheet over the hub of the CD. I pulled off that thin plastic, and then the disc worked like it should. I used it on 3 different players, and all of them played the cleaner disc. The directions should have told about the plastic over the hub of the disc - because it is hard to see!BOTTOM LINE: Notice the fine clear plastic over the hub of the CD Cleaner disc and REMOVE IT!

Worked wonders on my Bose system that would stop playing music or skip tracks on CDs. Works like a new now. I recommend this product.

We recently bought a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan and it was scratching the discs and not playing them. I bought this *in hopes* that it would work. It absolutely worked and my 9 yr old is so excited because she can now watch her DVD's on road trips! We take several short road trips throughout the year and typically 2 longer vacations.Super easy to use, didn't take very long, and now we have use of our DVD player again!
