Similar to the award-winning OM117L, the Omano OM150-M is a newer, larger and more modern version primarily designed as a high power microscope for elementary school use. With all glass optics and variable cool LED illumination, it offers all the magnification required for Elementary and Middle School students. A wide field WF10x eyepiece combines with three achromatic objective lenses, 4x, 10x and 40x to provide magnification of 40x, 100x and 400x. An eyepiece lock nut can be tightened to minimize the risk of loss and the head rotates through 360 degrees as required. There is a six hole pinhole aperture with the LED illumination powered by three AA batteries. The resolution (fine details) provided is excellent. Shipping weight: 7lbs. This microscope includes an essential starter slide kit with 5 blank slides, 5 prepared slides, 1 pick, 1 cotton swab, tweezers, petri dish, red and blue stains, 1 dropper and a pack of soft, chemical-free lens cleaning paper.
