Q: Can you use it on the black part of your dog too? Have a Bernese and I’m trying to keep his white marks white, but don’t want to lighten the black.

I'm sure you can. My dog is a white palmerainian. He get dark high lights in the winter and this works to bring the white out more he gets the amber high lights in the winter. Doing and summer weather pure white. Used it 3 weeks ago still soft and clean . So I don't see why you could not use it. I just ordered more at the price it is at now before it goes back to normal price

Generally I soap up and work the soap for 10-15 minutes. But we have a 60 pound standard poodle, so timing would depend on the size of your dog.
