Worth it but don’t expect it to be easy
What I learned from installing these:Lesson #1: buy even more than you think you need. Like with real tile or stone that you buy in sheets with the back panel that holds them together, there are imperfections in these tiles. That said, they are MINIMAL.Lesson #2: measure multiple times before installing. Do not go at the installation without mapping it out on your floor or a flat surface and pre cutting it. It will be much better and easier to install.Lesson #3: make sure you have a really good exacto knife. Interestingly, if you LIGHTLY score the top of the tiles, you can pop them in two and then use the knife to cut and separate the back film of the sheet that protects the sticky part from the elements. It makes it super easy to cut. If you try to press to hard, you will likely make less straight cuts. Also, I have these cool little pliers/cutters that can cut through jewelry wire that I used to snap the metal tiles and it was way easier to cut those that way. When you are cutting, if you want to save tile if you have to cut through a big tile, I suggest using your exacto knife it sort of cut between the tiles where you can salvage pieces/chunks of tile pattern and then separate it. Then, it’s easier to cut through the middle of the sheet because it’s easier to slice, snap, and break it apart. This might not make sense until you are mid project because I would be confused reading this part too!Lesson #4: apply the edges first before pressing down the middle. You want to make sure it’s really aligned and it’s so sticky that if you’re not careful, you will have a lot of weird peeling off to do and re-sticking to do. I loved having a helper who did what I asked the whole time as I installed these.Lesson 5: a knife or blade or metal spatula is super helpful in installing because you can use it when you get it uneven to pop tiles to fit together. When you invariably get to a section where they don’t align and you can’t quite squeeze them together, you can position the little spatula or blade and just life one tile and pop the other one in next to it. Again, this makes more sense when you are doing it.Lesson #6: you can shave down the little metal tiles and put them back in if it’s slightly uneven to install it or doesn’t quite fit. We did this a few times. It sounds hard from what I explained but it was relatively quick to install once I cut it.This is much cheaper than buying tile and paying an installer and looks great on the children’s storage design I built from the PAX IKEA line for my little one. It also made the back panel, which is pretty flimsy, more firm and strong. Literally looks so expensive and I LOVE IT. My open concept home needs these finishing touches because I don’t have a space or hide kids things away.Love it and highly recommend!

Excellent Tiles for Refreshing a Space
I could not be more pleased with these tiles- such a wonderfully cheap alternative to demolishing my outdated fireplace and you would never know they are vinyl. Truth be told it is a very time consuming process if you work on your own by hand, however the measurements I had to work with were unconventional from the start- it may not be as tedious for a larger project with square measurements. Heavy duty scissors or kitchen shears are perfectly sufficient tools to use for this, the tiles cut easily. The peel and stick backing is very strong as other reviews have mentioned, however I was able to pull off several by hand or with a flathead screwdriver when mistakes were made. It did leave a residue behind when this occurred, but I was able to scrape or peel it off without much trouble. All in all I would highly recommend giving these a go if you have the patience to invest in a project of this nature- it pays off!

EASY and BEAUITIFUL!
These were so easy to install, and I did it all by myself in a half day. I clean the surface, and once it was dry, I started in the middle of my kitchen, made a line upwards and worked from the right and the left. There are a few small gap issues, but I was able to add gray caulking where the areas are a little bit separated. For trim I used the product linked below and it was a perfect color match to the brushed metal. Brushed metal was very easy to cut with a pair of scissors because it is a thin brushed aluminum. I’m glad I went with this color because it matches my stainless steel appliances. These have been up for several months now and none of the tiles have fallen off! Also, it hides a lot of the splashes/food that gets behind the sink. I have to remind myself to clean it, because it never looks dirty!Trim: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09Y1FGHNQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Difficult to line up on a standard 18" backsplash
If you're doing a standard 18" kitchen backsplash, this is difficult to install. You have to make your bottom and corner straight cuts precise. The slightest variation in your bottom cut on succeeding sheets will throw off all the other sheets from lining up correctly. I consider myself an average DIYer, and I had trouble getting all the sheets to fit together cleanly. I wish this company would offer an option to buy a set of tiles with a factory straight edge on one side. I suppose if you're a contractor with all the right tools this would be easier, but it's a peel and stick tile, who's going to hire a contractor to install this? The adhesion is very strong, you can't really peel it off and move it if you make a mistake and want to adjust it. Other than the difficulty of the install, the tiles are very nice, they do look like real stone. I purchased the beige/gold tiles, and it did the job of covering up my old mosaic tiles. Update- really sharp scissors make a nice clean cut better than a box cutter or knife. I also used white silicone caulk between tiles that didn’t line up perfectly. It’s not a seemless fix, but looks better than gaps

Great quality product!
The media could not be loaded. It took me and my husband about 2 days to finish our little project including the trim. The gold trim is from the same company as well. It was a little tricky because the border is not straight but we were already prepared for this challenge and it’s all worth it because it turned out so well! It’s really sticky but when we made an error and had to peel some of it off, it wasn’t that hard to take it off and didn’t damage the wall paint too. Will definitely order from the same company if we need to in the future.

So pretty.
This color compliments the white oak floors. Pretty easy to install, just make sure your first row is level and square. DRIVE FIT FIRST with backing on. I peeled back a little of the backing on the opposite side of where I was nesting new piece, make sure everything lined up then only pressed that section, THEN reached under and peeled the rest of backing and gently made sure they all lined up still.Would I do it again. Yes, ordering more. Use good scissors or craft paper cutter.

Exactly as pictured and easy to install!
Went up in no time at all. The best advice I can give is skip the utility knife and get yourself a really good pair or heavy duty industrial scissors (the silver steel kind) This made my life a MILLION times easier just cutting through the tiles instead of scoring and snapping. Also, the shiny aluminum looking tile does not score and snap, so that was a head ache when I first started. After using the scissors it was no issue at all and installation flew by. Don't hesitate to buy, looks great!
