Cane tip
Expensive, but worth it. Some might think it a bit heavy, but I like the stability, without being too rigid. Long wearing as well.

Best crutch tips I've ever found!
The best crutch tip I've ever used. This crutch tip never slides. I waited to post a review until I had used it in all types of weather and this performed great in rain, snow, slush, walking on grass or leaves, basically everywhere. I have severe arthritis in my knees and find a crutch better than a cane for me. I've been using a crutch for about 10 years and this tip is the first that made me feel secure going anywhere in any weather. I live in Chicago so I deal with it all and this may be expensive but it is worth it to me to have confidence as I walk. After eight months of daily use it is showing only mild wear it has already lasted a lot longer then those cheep tips and I'm sure it will keep going for many months to come. the only downsides are that it was very difficult to get it on, it's bulky and it is heavier then normal tips. These are minor items when looking at overall satisfaction.

Much safer.
I was having trouble with the tips that came with my crutches. If I wasn't careful the standard tips would slide. These have a rolled out and up bottom. They grip the floor or any other surface quite firmly. They make walking safe and secure.

Great idea
Although they are bigger in diameter than I expected, I find them useful. In comparison to the Ergocanes these Ergo caps are bigger and heavier. I use them for outdoor terrains and walking-paths on trails where they provide better stability where small stones, leaves etc may get under foot and disturb balance. If you use two canes to ambulate which provides better reciprocal movement having the Ergocaps to push off of on the opposite side while in the swing phase leg in the gait cycle (pushing off the left while the right is stepping forward ) provides better stability and base of support therefore providing better stride. As Physical Therapist with MS I find them very good ergonomically. Great idea!

Huge difference in helping me maintain my balance; snugger fit made easily.
I paid a little extra for one-day delivery because I wanted to replace the tip on my Exerstrider, just before a trip. I use it not as an exerciser but as a walking stick to assist my problems maintaining my balance due to a physical problem. It arrived very quickly as promised. Although it would not stay on my 1/2 inch diameter Exerstrider, I was able to add it to a 3/4 inch cane and take that instead. The Ergocap made a huge difference in helping me maintain my balance while traveling, partly because of the extra weight it added to the bottom of my cane, and partly because of the increased surface contact with sidewalks and asphalt parking lot surface irregularities. My only criticism is that the tip slipped off once at the airport and was almost lost. I am going to have to glue it in place. Perhaps a snugger fit should be available. But I highly recommend it! 7/20/15 - I am editing this review to upgrade my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. Now that I have had several days to use this tip on my cane, I am ***extremely satisfied*** with the extra sense of confidence it has given me in dealing with my balance problems, due both to its heft and the clever angled wings which provide more surface than standard cane tips when placing the cane at an angle rather than perpendicular to the walking surface. I had previously knocked off one star due to the slightly loose fit, but I resolved that by wrapping the cane tip with some black plastic electrical tape so that the Ergocap now fits really snug, making the original criticism too trivial to warrant down-rating. In fact, I am going to order another one to put on my Exerstrider, now that the designer of that product sent me instructions as to how to adapt its 1/2 in. diameter to accept the Ergocap. 7/28/15 After another week of usage in travel, including getting around six trips through airports, in and out of small boats, around docks and through museums, etc. I would like to add that I observed that there are three (3) ways in which I find this model - the Ergocap® **High Performance** model - to provide me with greater safety - 1) The hefty weight increases the likelihood that I will place the cane down perpendicular to the walking surface, rather than at an angle, without having to concentrate on doing so; 2) The main center surface is much larger than that of a standard issue cane tip and provides greater gripping surface; 3) The four angled wings extending out from the tips' main center surface insure that, even if I inadvertently place my cane down at an angle while walking, I am given much more surface against the floor or pavement than occurs when putting a standard tip down at an angle.

Very stable
It was too heavy for my liking so I returned it. It did give my cane very good grip while I tested it. This end would work great for off road walking

What a reliable product for the price they were well worth it
I like that the tips relieved a lot of the wear and tear on my wrists, elbows, shoulders, and hands. Until I found this product walking simply one mile would wear a new pair of pharmacy tips" right off! With thes Ergocap High Performance Tips I walked all over town, mowed lawns, shovelled driveways and everything in between for almost a full two years. I can't say enough, THANK YOU. I believe it's coming up to the time to place my order for the NEW Winter Grip Extreme Version.

Útiles para superficies irregulares
Aunque el precio es elevado, estas conteras funcionan de maravilla para no batallar con superficies irregulares y/o resbalosas.

Durable!
Have bought several cane tips. This one beats them all and still going. Every day use plus used on trails and not showing any wear. Best money spent on a mobility cane.
