Bought a GoBe3 of these last year - what an improvement on the older Gobe2!Gobe 3 addressed most of the gripes I had with the old device - it's more discreet, lighter and the rear has been redesigned with the charging recessed behind a rubber flap so it don't irritate the skin. The charging lead now plugs in, much better than the old magnetic method which often fell off before charged. The strap seems better too, more flexible so you can get a good contact with your skin without it feeling tight. The smaller discreet look with a proper touch screen which shows all your health readings is so much better than the old dated display with the push button.So, what do I think of the device? Does it work?Yes it does !! I've done numerous home tests such as eat on a night, don't eat on a night - you can see those calories stack up over night on the device. Few beers after 9pm, watch those calories be registered on the device! Don't eat and there is very little activity over night. Some people may say it's just guessing, but I can't see how it figures a beer or late night sandwich vs a stint on the bike or rowing machine?! Judging by long term weight loss vs calories consumed it seems pretty accurate too - less registered, more loss of weight, go over a daily amount and I gain weight. Again, seems reliable in what it tells me.I've got to say I'm impressed, and if you want to track and understand what causes weight gain for you, you really need one of these.What else? Amazing aftersales service! Had a minor issue on the display on the Gobe3 I bought after 11 months, so I contacted customer services via the app and asked if there was anything they could do - expected some excuse and a "tough luck" or run around via some poor call centre like you typically get in the UK, but no, I was so wrong. Got to say they were totally on the ball.Tried out a specific Firmware update on my device, which failed to solve the problem so the send me a new device without hesitation.I wish there were more companies like this out there - these days it's so common to be dismissed or given the run around.Would I recommend - yes I would.This calorie intake tracker seems so much better than the standard fitness bands, and their apps also sync with my Withings scales, so my weight automagially appears in the app too!
