Shipping was quick, and the installation process was straightforward. I used my hydraulic jack to lift the hitch and position it against the frame, and went from there. I only needed the washers on the passenger side, although getting them into place was a bit tricky. I bent a thick piece of wire to have like a fork at the end, and used that to push them up far enough the slit for the bolt to catch them. All in all, it took me a bit longer than the 30 minutes that the installation instructions mention (which are clearly written for professional installers), but I was done in under an hour. Parking my trailers will now be a breeze ... and my bikes can ride in front while I'm pulling said trailers. As for trimming the fascia on my Sierra 2500 HD - I didn't find it necessary; the receiver pushes up against it only ever so lightly, you don't even notice.

Excellent fit, easy bolt on. I was able to reinstall tow hooks in same location. For the Yukon, it bends the plastic lower valance up a bit. If I choose to cut that, I would trim maybe 1/2 inch. Doesn't hang up on curbs and is recessed enough to not be a tripping hazard. I haul 2 E-bikes with a Hollywood rack when towing.

Love it bolted right up no issues well made

This is for my 2004 Avalanche 2500 (with cladding) and this does fit with minor trimming to the front lower cladding. The bracket (4 10mm bolts) does have to be removed but like others have said this does not impact anything structural. I used an 18mm GrearWrench and a 18mm socket to remove the bolts for the factory tow hooks and the new bolts are 19mm. If you don't have the factory tow hooks or plan on not using them you have to use the supplied carriage bolts and metal tab/shim looking things. Install took about 1 hour and it would have been faster if I knew how much of that plastic I needed to take off before (1.5"x12") but with a floor jack I just lowered one side back down and cut a little bit more off until the receiver fit. Quality made piece which is a good thing since this will be holding a 12k winch. I have a class V Curt hitch on the rear that replaced the little factory class III and it's just as well made.
