I used this product to put these blinds in my office to keep the heat out and it did just that and they look nice as well.

The sun shines in our kitchen window late in the afternoon making the kitchen extremely warm. With the temperature over 100 degrees this blind has helped with the electric bill.

These work well and dark out the room very well. Very good price and they seem very sturdy and well made.

For taller people and those who are savvy with tools, installing the blinds will be easy-peasy! Since I'm neither, it took me longer. The instructions, however, were perfectly presented. The blind is easy to raise and lower and looks wonderful in my home.

This works amazingly and it was so nice getting the exact size we needed for our bedroom window.

nice shades i order in light grey.nice texture as well on one side.HOWEVER the backets are a major FAIL!...most homes window trim is 5/8 -2 3/4 or 3/4 -3 1/2...these brackets are 2 inchs off the wall meaning you have a big space...no lightblocking if the dont touch the trim!.the company listed 2 ways of installing and i know how to install...a friend of mine owns a shade install company but i hate waiting...if the company makes a differant bracket i be 100% even if i need to pay for it.for me i will probley have to re trim the windows in the spring....WHY ARE THE BRACKETS SO FAR OFF THE WALL?these work fine for a real old home that uses double trim .....but then those houses you can do inside install anyway....these brackets wont work on new homes or anything in the last 40 plus years or with andersen windows that allmost all newer homes have.they wont work inside mount and they be too far out on newer type trims.by the way i been ask to do major installs by my friend before and i know new and remodeling construction well.sad ... a very nice shade ruined by poor bracket design.FYI...before i bought i put alot of thought into this....amazon needs to show more details when they list items for sale....OR PROVIDE LINKS...

The shades are very nice looking and block out the light. Happy with my purchase.

Appears to be decent quality, but there were a couple manufacturing defects. One edge has a flaw when cut. Tiny hole near bottom of shade. Since theses are blackout shades the hole is very noticeable. The screws it comes with are very low quality and easily stripped. I would return, but too much effort to uninstall. Good enough.
