Hell on Wheels: The Complete Series [DVD]

Much better than Deadwood, it was still filled with whores, liquor, gun fights, back alley throat cutting, Civil War veterans with PTSD and gun fighting skills. Determined well educated slick swindlers who were politically connected to Washington DC ran the R-R companies.I actually enjoyed this one. It was rough and tumble, sleep with your clothes on, one eye open and a gun in your hand. The biggest problem came from sparing the lives of insane trouble makers who should have been put down.

This is a good but violent series. The box set did not have ant playing issues.

I have watched this 3 times already. Would not recommend for anyone under 13.

Then buy this whole series Blu-Ray package (or DVD if yoy have an older tv). This, about the building of the transcontenantal railroad is absolutely gripping! And if you look at the "Hell on Wheels" article on Wikapedia, you'll find that the portrayals of the lead charactors are historically accurate.

El DVD viene con una limitación de visionado a la Región 1, válida para los USA y Canadá. Creo que se deberia advertir de una manera más destacada. Por eso procedí a su devolución. Una lástima porque la serie está muy bien, en su momento se pudo ver por una de las plataformas.

Parfait

Después de ver la primera temporada de esta serie, tenía que ver las 4 temporadas restantes. En Amazon, encontré un paquete a muy buen precio que contenía toda la serie, que por cierto llego en menos tiempo del esperado y en perfecto estado. Serie poco conocida que no está aún en ningún streaming y que vale mucho la pena, un western en toda la regla.
