Works like new again
This release clip is a replacement for my Dyson vacuum, as the original clip broke after many years of use. The item received was as described, was offered at a fair price and arrived on time...in addition, it was easy/simple to install. I would definitely purchase from this seller again.

On time, unexpensive, and works as designed
The part was on time and almost looked identical to the broken part. When I first put it on my wacuum it would not latch properly. After about 10 tries and putting tension on nthe back an dfront of the bag, it popped right in and I haven't had a problem since.

Does work on older style DC41 Animal if you replace both pieces
Picked this one because it actually looked injection molded versus 3D printed. It does work on the older design DC41 Animal vacuums if you replace both pieces of the release clip (although for me only the top portion was what was broken). Replacing the lower portion requires complete disassembly of the cyclone, which requires watching a YouTube video and a long handled T15 screwdriver. But it's a opportunity to give the cyclone a good cleaning. If you are not mechanically inclined disassembly and reassembly of the cyclone could be a challenge due to the position of the T15 screws and having to have a twist on the spring to allow proper operation of the lower section of the release clip. Watch a YouTube tutorial video first and if that seems overwhelming and you have the means just buy the complete replacement cyclone and save yourself an hour of frustration hunting for the right screwdriver and fussing around with the spring twist.

Handle latch for Dyson DC41
Did not fit my Vac said it would fit a DC 41 and a DC 65 also but was to big had to reorder another one for DC41 it worked fine.

Fits as it should
Thank goodness for Amazon, when my husband picked up the Dyson vacuum incorrectly and broke this part I panicked thinking it would cost a fortune to get another one if it was even available. Lo and behold Amazon had it, it arrived quickly and at a very reasonable price. Super easy to install as well.

Almost for the DC66
I read a buyer saying it fit his DC66, although it wasn't listed in this item details, so I tried it. It almost fit. The hook is a bit too big where it latches on to the vacuum. It still works, but once in a while it pops out, just make sure it's latched on before picking it up, I already had one mess.

I got it for my stand up right vacume I think I ordered a small one my own fault does the job for now till I can get the bigger one? I'm so confused.
