All of the hard shell capsules are vege caps, so no animal products in the capsule itself. Piperine can enhance the absorption of standard curcumin extracts, but it is not as efficient as liposomal technology which Longvida uses, so is not necessary.

There is 5mg of Mitoq in each capsule. However, the recommend dosage is 2 capsules per day taken on an empty stomach 30 minutes before breakfast.

Hi Sara,Thank you for your question.MitoQ + Curcumin doesn't contain peperdine extract.Pepper is often used to boost curcumin levels by blocking a pathway that removes curcumin from the body increasing the levels of curcumin. Unfortunately blocking that pathway can affect the removal of a wide range of other products and, for some people, that can be risky. We use a special form of Curcumin in our formula called Longvida curcumin which is proven to be 65-100 times better absorbed than regular curcumin and this removes the need to block the removal to increase levels. The added benefit of Longvida is that it crosses the blood brain barrier vs regular curcumin that does not.Best wishes,MitoQ

Very pricey but a good product

My husband and I take Mito + Curcumin daily. Unfortunately they run out of it on occasion. Also, it is very expensive. This is the USA, so to be expected. I'm sure the company makes a nice profit off of this. The price jumped up about $15 per bottle a couple months ago. We are now trying plain Mito-Q and adding some Tumeric. Hope it is effective!
