Box Anchor for Offshore Boat Anchoring, Galva

Q: I am new to this and plan to buy two box anchors and wondering which anchor would I set first bow or stern?

Buy from hurricane anchors. We bought a small 7 lb for the back and folding roller for the front. The box one is terribly heavy and difficult to set and release. We are new too and regret it.

Q: The item weight says 4lbs, is that right? The small box says 19lbs

Not sure the exact weight but at least 20lbs

Q: Do you use a chain with this anchor? Picture appears to only have line directly connected to it...

No chain is needed! You can directly connect it to a line! Works great!

Q: What is the size and weight of the small and large box anchor

Not sure of the weight, but they are quite heavy. They are, by far, the best anchor on the market.
