When I was a child you just had a watch that told the time, but with all the technology around these days, kids want so much more!My son has been asking for ages to have a smartwatch, I’m not willing to pay a ridiculous price on an all singing all dancing one, so thought I’d try this watch out and it seems pretty good. The fact that a watch can have things like a camera, torch, calculator, games and more, your child will have everything they need! Certainly great for entertainment when in the car or waiting for something. I wouldn’t recommend letting your child wear this to school though as they may get distracted and end up in trouble. This watch says you can phone from it, but I think you need a SIM card for that. I’d say it’s relatively easy to use, but took a little getting used to. Kids these days suss these things out quicker than us adults anyway. It’s not the best quality, but you get what you pay for and this watch is at the cheaper end of the scale. My son will certainly be happy with this when I give it to him, although like most things it will probably be a 5-minute wonder!Would make a nice little birthday present for a child aged 5-10.

The set includes a USB cable, screwdriver and spare screws. User manual in English. I tested making calls, added contacts, stopwatch, camera, alarm clock, calculator, everything works. It also has a Flashlight, School mode, including a silent profile so that it does not make noise during classes. A good replacement for a phone as you do not have to spend a lot of money, and it pretty much fulfills all the functions of contact with the child as much as possible. Would defiantly inetly recommend this choice

This is a nice pink attractive girls watch it’s quite big so it’s not for small wrists and it’s aTraditional watch strap so it’s not for the smaller child/girl.It doesn’t come with any charge and you had to charge up to get the operation of the watch working however I did find it a little difficult as the cable has been folded up so much and it just rests on the back like a magnet to charge the watch up it falls off at the slightest touch so this is not ideal and eventually won’t be used disappointing.Instruction booklet is a little bit poor small I’m not really suitable for children to read and follow again little bit disappointing.When the watch is charged and you turn it on it is a nice colourful display it’s a basic operation so there’s no Bluetooth to music but what I do like is that you can insert a 2G Sim card so this watch can be used to make simple calls either way obviously there would be a cost to the SIM card.Play roll a Little bit disappointed £28 for just an electronic watch I’m not happy overpriced

I would say this watch is probably suitable for children from about 7 years upwards. The strap comes in pink or blue, although children aren't so fussed about boys or girls things these days. In the box you also get a USB charging lead, a mini screwdriver and two spare screws, plus a re-setting tool (these come in a little plastic bag to save them getting lost). One thing I really liked about this product, although it was made in China, the instruction leaflet is all in English and the translation isn't too bizarre. The functions of the watch include: Making and Receiving Calls, 10 Editable Contacts, SOS, Fun Games, Camera, Photo, Music, Calendar, Recorder, Calculator, 3 Alarms, Stopwatch, Custom Background, Flashlight, School Mode, Silent Profile, Time backlight, time and date, call log. So, it should be really good for an older child and will keep them amused for ages. It's also very useful if you need to give them a way of contacting you without spending money on a phone. They will probably need adult help to set it up. Good value for £27.

I wasn't expecting much from this device but was pleasantly surprised, it switched on and was instantly ready, no loading of an operating system or anything.The screen is a decent size, maybe a little big for a child to be honest but it does exactly what is says on the tin, has a camera, can take low Res photos and videos, has games and a watch. It has a light on the side and can make calls to numbers using a sim card.Overall I was impressed as I wasn't expecting much at all but it's a very functional device.
