Blackmagic has always been the goto video equipment, and the terex line of products is ultra portable and powerful.

Blackmagic are one of the best brand in broadcasting devices, used around the world. And this device is very compact and reliable.

The price is great but really hard to use
I have been using Blackmagic Design products for more than ten years. One that I have used. ATEM, Studio Minis, various converters. All the signals has to match from the camera to the output video unless we have some kind of down scale device in between. The price is great but really hard to use. I bought this and I ran into problem where I want to record 1080 60 on my camera and my real time out put had to be on 720 30P for the Facebook. Which did not work on this setting. So I had to return this product.

This information was buried in fine print somewhere
It was likely my fault for not reading enough into this, but I found out that you need to run 2 sdi lines to your input to split the alpha channel. I'm using ProPresenter. This information was buried in fine print somewhere, and not clearly instructed on how this is accomplished. It wasn't until I went to set it up that I discovered this, and it doesn't work with our setup.
