Good fit and finish and quality!
The home we just purchased came with old small junction boxes. These new upgraded boxes fit the bill nicely. The fact this came with all the hardware and tether to hang the cover while installing was a big plus. This was the perfect size to fit my Lorex cameras in my home. The tether allowed me to hang the cover and camera (already mounted) to finish up tidying the ethernet cables in the box itself. Once that was done I simply placed the cover and my camera and tightened down the screws. This made install quicker and easier for me. I would recommend if you have Lorex cameras!

Very well thought out camera mount
This is as good as it gets for a camera mount. The entire unit is extremely well thought out, sturdy and made out of metal.- All needed screws are included, along with tools for the hex heads- The "lid" has a tie cable to the main enclosure so it can hang freely while installing it.- Screws have a small rubber gasket that serves double duty a retainer so they don't fall out while you are working + seal the box when tightened.- Threaded knockout can be moved if you want to use a side feed instead of back feed.- Mount holes were in a pattern that perfectly fit my DH-IPC-HDW3549HP-AS-PV on the 3rd largest "ring".- Included a paper/sticker mount template for pre-drilling if you wantMy only small gripe was that the threads were a little tight, but running one of the included screws through each before ladder-time got them cleaned up, not worth knocking off a star.

Nicely packaged, HEAVY metal, excellent with Lorex
I used 4 of these to for outdoor Lorax fusion cameras. I was very impressed with the heavy metal durability, compared to a previous plastic one I ended up returning. This box came with all the screws, hex tool and a set of basic anchors to make for a secure installation, however, you may need other anchors, depending on your install.i was alo impress with the metal hinges and cable, allowing you to:1. Mount the box first2. Remove the lid, and mount the camera to it, then3. Attach the lid to the box and screw in.This really is a quality box.The gaskets are on ALL included screws and covers, eliminating the worry of moisture entering the box and ruining your connection. The 3 holes on the cover lined up perfectly for my cameras. The box is a 3 hole mount, although you may only need 1-2 good holes with good screws.Be sure to mount the box at the correct spots for your particular camera field of view BEFORE you mount your camera. I had to re-drill a few holes in stucco once to achieve my desired camera angle.

Looks Cheap and Poorly Made
This is one of the worst products I’ve ever bought on Amazon. The edges are rough and look like it was made with zero quality control. It seriously looks like a defective item. The screws won’t tighten properly and the whole thing feels cheap and flimsy. Installation was a nightmare. Don’t waste your money on this junk. Absolutely worthless.

Confirmed fit for Amcrest IP4M-T1044
Writing a review that I wish someone else had already. This junction DOES fit the Amcrest IP4M-T1044 (dual lens dome) without any modification. I have not installed it yet. However, a preliminary test fit went smoothly and I feel like this will work well for my outdoor camera. There are orings/gaskets on the exterior screws in addition to a main gasket and seal on the housing. This should stay water tight for the life of the gaskets. Also, it includes the screws to attach the camera to the box (important as the holes are threaded for machine screws and most cameras come with wood screws). I'll update after I've installed it.Update: I installed the camera and junction box the other day. It's a right fit for all the wiring on my specific camera but I got it all crammed in. I think I will end up going back and wrapping all the use and unused connections in silicone tape as well as running a bead of caulk around the edge. It seems like it will be ok without all that but better to be safe than sorry.

Works on full sized domes, incl. Geovision
Needed a universal box so I didn't have to spend four times as much on a manufacturer box for the cables that didn't have attic access. It was big enough for a full sized dome, and I was able to drill my own holes in the faceplate. I threaded the holes with a spare screw, and cut the screws I used extra short so they wouldn't protrude into the cable underneath. The 3/4" threaded holes made it easy to use a 1/2" adapter and 1/2" waterproof cable fitting, and I angled the hole downward to prevent water ingress. I did have to remove the screws and tether wire for space. Of the three boxes I used, all are working well, but make sure you double check the tightness of the threaded caps before installing.

Built solid
Seems to be built pretty well. The screws provided have rubber gaskets to prevent water from entering. The top has plenty of holes to accommodate different mount arrangements. The screw holes for mounting cameras are not drilled completely through the top so it remains water-tight. Mounting hardware included.

Really Disappointed
Honestly, I’m really disappointed. When I got it, the outer shell already had scratches all over it. It looked like a used product. Sure, it’s technically still usable, but it left a bad impression. Installation was also a pain — the screw holes didn’t line up properly and made the whole process frustrating. Two stars, and that’s being generous.
