Folds nicely into the size of a big textbook but is quite light. Will easily fit into a backpack. I like having a dedicated may to encourage yoga when abroad. Only complaint so far is that the grip is not 100% if feed are not perfectly dry. I think I would use socks with this. Happy with purchase.

I love this mat for yoga on my local beach and for taking it to my gym. It's lightweight to carry around and doesn't take up too much space when using in public places. Sand is easy to get off too if using at the beach! It also comes in handy as a mat to sit on! I like to have different yoga mats- one for home and one at the gym. So this one is compact and light to carry.. ill also pack this in a suitcase too for holidays too.

Easy to pop into a backpack and fold away very good quality.
