Great set up, easy install, easy to use. With that said it's a really big screen, wouldn't look right in every vehicle. For the RVer's out there this way a great upgrade on the factory radio for the older rigs. I struggled to find an upgrade that didn't break the bank for my 04 Newmar and this fit perfectly. Takes a bit tracking wires, I just spliced into the old pioneer harness, works with stock camera and still has the triptek feature working.

I purchased this to install in my son's Ford Ranger. It needed an install kit and plug. The radio works very well. I think it is the cheapest one that has wireless android auto. It sounds pretty good, and is easy to set up. I purchased a pioneer, but it failed after couple days (it was manufactured during covid). I didn't want one of those cheap android radios. The wireless android pairing is great, because most newer phones need better chargers. So you can be quick charging your phone on a separate charger and use the android auto. The map does not work without the use of android. I would have liked a volume knob, but for the price I cannot complain. I had two previous Jenson stereos in different cars and they worked well. But in the Ford there was alternator noise. I check all of the grounds but no luck. So I installed those noise filters in the two power supply wires and there aren't any noise issues. It has lasted two months without any issues. I will leave additional feed back in a couple months.

This is the day 3 review, I’ll come back in a month or so to do an update. This was a super easy install. This unit worked with my existing brackets in my 07 Xterra. All I needed to do was shave off the top part of the extra faceplate. And it covered up the hole on the bottom nicely. Unit functions just fine, everything is snappy, especially in CarPlay mode. Idk about other systems, but when you first set it up, don’t be alarmed if the Bluetooth disconnects when you plug in CarPlay, that’s on purpose. But when I disconnect the wire, it switches to Bluetooth quickly. This is NOT* the wireless unit. I’m ok with that because I’d rather my phone be charging too. Don’t forget to plug in the antenna. I think the unit uses it as part of the grounding, because the unit would shut off if I unplugged it. (I didn’t care about radio, but I guess I do now). The CarPlay/Aauto plug is a simple USB A female, so bring your own cord and find a spot to plug it in. I knocked out one of my empty slots, not pretty but functional. The only time I’ve seen the device slow down is when you scroll left to get to settings. But no other issues. Only other issue I had was that it arrived in original packaging, making it an easy target, glad I was home.

Installed in a 2002 VW Jetta... installation was relatively easy. Love the adjustability of the screen, allows for such a large screen to work in a older small car. Sound quality is pretty decent. Android Auto works great. I read complaints about the screen being too bright, but all I had to do was update the firmware and a it added brightness controls.
