We have a plastic jug on the go all the time in our kitchen. It’s used to fill our water filter tank several times a day, so it needs to be pretty heavy duty. We've had them before when they’re so flimsy that when filled with water the handle bends dangerously. And as this needs to be raised above our heads to fill the tank, that could be disastrous! So as soon as it arrived I filled it to the brim - and it passed the test. The measurements are fairly easy to read and correspond to those on our glass measuring jug, so it will have multiple culinary uses too. At £12.99 for the pair, it has to be five stars.

Sturdy, easy to wash, clear measurements on the jugs

This set of two measuring jugs is very good value for money and they are invaluable in the kitchen.I often need two measuring jugs when I’m cooking and these jugs have a 1 litre capacity, which is brilliant as my old glass jug only holds 500ml. They are tall and slim and the spout is narrow so they’re more accurate (and less messy) when pouring.The measuring scale is in litres and millilitres and it’s only on one side of the jug.I’m really pleased with these measuring jugs and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The plastic is cracked and broken. The material is very weak and thin. Unfortunately very poorly and cheaply made.
