Does not work with Dell or HP security lock holes.
The seller provides stick on security lock holes but the device will not work with existing laptop case security holes. Cables seem secure but since I am a retail location, I cannot use the stick ons since they would only work for one item and not future items.

Could not get the combination set
It locked out my n me, but followed the instructions.

Locking plate delivered does not match picture
This cable lock is nice since I do not need to remember to bring a key, but it's imperative to have a secure location to join with (i.e. anchor plate). This cable has a long locking mechanism, due to combo vs key. The longer mechanism makes it easier to wrench it loose. I was expecting a metal locking plate as seen in picture. My plan was to replaced the 3m tape with JB Weld putty for a more secure connection to my laptop. The anchor plate delivered was rectangular, thin and plastic. The JB Weld Steel stick I ordered isn't ideal with plastic, so now I need to go shopping for a better locking plate and hope it works with cable.

Nice build
NOT sized for the slot in a Dell (which is why I bought it) but comes with a glue on receiver. I already owned a lock with this size male. Nicely built though.
