Works well
I like the quality and easy of use for this handheld mic and speaker. The belt clip is nice but I do wish it had an option for a standard CB mic mount. The sound quality is decent but maybe slightly better than the radio itself. Overall quality, price, and functionality are tough to beat.

This is definitely one of the better Baofeng microphones. Nice clear sound, solid click on the button and a decent clip. Cord seems sturdy, sound clear not muffled up like some others. Five Stars for this one

great Mic for handheld.
If you have a hand held GMRS radio, you NEED this microphone. Super easy hook up and perfect for spotting other Jeeps or vehicles on the trail.

Waste of money, WAAYY too quiet!
The media could not be loaded. I have to wear earplugs for my job, so I wanted to put a speaker closer to my head so that I’d have a better chance of hearing it. I will NEVER hear this speaker in a million years at this volume! Even just sitting at home, I cannot make out what people are saying on the radio over the sound of my A/C on max volume.It’s legit like 10% of the volume of the stock speaker on my BF-F8HP. I’m so disappointed. This seems to be a product geared towards people who will be outdoors. I can’t imagine trying to hear anything on this thing over rain, wind, or if in the car, road noise.It’s no doubt sturdy, but what good is it in this case? Nevermind the earplugs, this thing is unusable and pointless. I can hear the stock radio speaker better from my hip than I can hear this thing cranked to max and next to my head!

Definitely worth the money.

Solid speaker mic!
These have stood up well to a season of skiing so far. We put them on the entire family to keep in touch. I used an earlier Retevis model and had some issues with the rear clip coming detached, the clip on these seems more solid. Also, the overall mic is just a little better shaped and less boxy than the old mics. Overall quite happy with the value for the cost. We did pick up a few spares in case we lost one to water damage (had this happen to a few other mics last season), but we haven't had to replace one yet.
