HOMCOM12L/Day 2000ML Portable Quiet Dehumidifier for Home Laundry Room Bedroom Basement, Electric Moisture Air De-Humidifier with 3 Modes

My last humidifier died on me a few weeks ago so had to research a new one. I live in a ground floor flat built over an underground river. Also the insulation is not what it should be so I tend to get mould in the corner of my bedroom ceiling and loads of condensation.Last humidifier was ok but this one is so much better. It is bigger for a start and more powerful. Took me a few minutes to work out the buttons to press and the different modes to use, but pretty sure I will stick to just two. First one, continuous mode so it is on all the time at the moment during cold weather. Second, is sleep mode when the light on the humidifier goes out and the hum is very low. I was wondering if it would disturb me but no it does not. Can barely hear it.Pulls in the water from the atmosphere much more efficiently than my old one and when the tank is full the humidifier stops and the light on the front (green when in use) glows red. In the few days I have had it I am astonished at the amount of water it has taken from the atmosphere and my bedroom windows are now clear in the morning and no condensation to mop up.Very pleased with my purchase and if this appears in the January sales I may but another one.

Like most people I was a little sceptical of this device, due owning two smaller devices from Pro Breeze the 500ml and 1500ml models. They can take over a week to fill up.Comparing this device to them there is no comparison, this Homcom 12L is miles ahead, I was a little shocked how good it works.This device can easily extract 2 litres water out the air on a 12 hour run set to Auto. Even more if you are drying out clothes, say on a radiator.Now it's located in an open plan Kitchen / Dining room, with staircase leading to the landing, so not a small area, in morning we humidity of around 75, with device on Auto for 12 hours it down to less 50 and you can feel it on the lips how dry the air has become.It's much cheaper to run than say a tumble dryer for drying clothes, even with the house heating off it still dries clothes well, it literally sucks the moisture out of the clothes.I just hope it doesn't go up in price, as need to buy another one for the family member.

This dehumidifier works perfectly for our needs. We need to dry out a small bedroom. The unit is really quiet and works great. Not sure it would be as useful in a large space but perfect for the task in hand. Great price also and fast delivery.

Fantastic little dehumidifier, water collection very easy to empty and very easy to move around as I use it in the kitchen and bathroom so great functionality plus I found it very good on the electricity! Would highly recommend!!

Does the job very well

This product is an ideal one for every home. It is very efficient, absorbing moisture and keeping home air clean and cool.

This is a wonderful dehumidifer, very good value for money,the one thing i will say about it is that the instruction book says to press the buttonsbut we have found that you have sort of swipe your finger over the buttons to get it workingwe were nearly going to send it back when we discovered how to make it work.but otherwise a really good machine.
