I have those magnetic curtain rods on my patio doors. The curtain rods kept falling down so I bought these to both replace the magnet and use as a block to stop the rod from sliding. They are not strong enought to do this. The curtain and curtain rod are not that heavy. They have a good hold on the door but they are just not doing the job. The stick to each other like crazy (follow the directions of SLIDING them off each other). Mayber they are better for another use.

These magnets are unbelievably strong. We use them to hold messages & appointment cards on our magnetic whiteboard. Perfect! 5+ stars!

The strength dissipates pretty quickly through multiple sheets of paper, especially if it's thicker stock. Holding up both sides of a greeting card with a few banknotes inside proved to be too much, for example. I had purchased these to insert into offcut wood pieces, to use as stocking stuffers, and they're pretty much useless through more than about 1/16" of material.

I am using these magnets on a tool holder project. I started the project with 20mm magnets which worked great, but were a little too big for some of the parts. I decided to try to use twice as many 10mm magnets in different places. Of course my thinking was way off. The surface area of a 20mm magnet is almost 4 times that of a 10mm magnet. As a result, my tool holders with the 10mm magnets do not stay in place as well. In summary, the 10mm magnets are good quality and uniform in size, but just not strong enough to be of much use in my projects.

a lot weaker than expected, I bought these to quiet the balls in a spray can but need to layer 3 to get the desired effect. Def not heavy duty.

Not much to say, they are decent magnets. Though each was was a bit weaker than what I wanted, but stacking a couple got the job done

They are thin and for the most part are a good product but I'd look for a thicker magnet that won't break. I used mine to make a magnetic curtain for my van window and unless you sew them in, each individually, they collect or magnetize themselves together and some will break up inside the material. I guess it depends on what you are using them for. They are just strong enough to magnetize through the cotton material I used, but if you brush up against it, the curtain will fall off. Travelling though, it seems to stay in place (the magnetized curtain that is). You get what you pay for!

For reference, these are not strong enough to support 50g without sliding down a vertical surface. Just not suitable for the purpose for which I purchased them.

The media could not be loaded.  Just got these they seemed tough. But watch the slow motion video. It shattered to pieces at close range less than 5 inches away. I won't buy these again. The video is recorded slow-motion with my iPhone.

I ordered these for a particular project which did not go ahead but I kept them as they will have multiple uses

Really like how strong they are
