It does what it claims to do
For several years I've had disastrous result with my tomato plants - they grew well, budded and then nothing - no fruit (tomatoes) ever set after flowering. I finally had someone tell me where I planted them got too much direct, over 85 degree heat during the day. Unfortunately, it gets hot where I live and I have no other place to plant the tomatoes other than where they get direct sun and 85-95 degree heat all summer, from early morning to late afternoon. This year I planted early and as soon as it hit 85 for a couple of days in a row, I put up this shading material and now I have over 30 tomatoes on three plants... folks, it's only May! Who knows how many I'll get this summer. Anyway, the shade is well built, easy to install and my guess is that it will last at least a couple of summers. If you need shade, this is the product for you.

Absolutely thrilled with this shade net on our pergola.
Two days after haphazardly fastening this to the top of my new pergola, we experienced a 70MPH wind storm. I watched at the thing (being held by three screws) flapped helplessly in the wind. When it was all over, it's like it never happened. This thing is about as well-made as can be. Further, the dimensions are exact. I mean EXACT. I ordered this thinking that I was going to have to rework a few things, because this was going to be an inch too long, or an inch two short. Nope. Exact down to an 8th of an inch on all four sides, and the spacing between the grommets! I bought two of these (different sizes) and both of them are perfect. Now. The first few days they weren't perfect because they have a unique kind of stink to them that goes away in a day or two. I was afraid it would last, but by day 3 or 4 I literally forgot all about it. Almost forgot to even mention it here. 3 months in use for both, and zero problems! ...Watch for the hilarious card insert about tree seeds becoming big trees while being watched over by these shades. You'll need an interpreter to figure it out, and you'll ask yourself whether or not the cartoon-drawn tree is inappropriately exposing himself. Ha ha. Got a good chuckle out of it.

Happy Tomatoes
Living in the Midwest, it gets really hot and humid throughout July and August. Tomatoes struggle during the hot months and need to be shaded. I used this shade for the first time and my tomatoes performed much better than the prior year. I just removed the shade and it will be used again next year. The product is durable, wind resistant, and easy to install/remove.

Good!
I used this many years. After a while it began to tear, from wind or maybe raccoons jumping on top. I use it more anyway, stretching it tighter. During the windy months, the tear becomes worse, but I stretch it tighter. Eventually it tears enough that I am buying a second one. 3 years later for $25! I thought it would dissolve at the first tear, but no. It is great!

No complaints
Shades part of my chicken run and makes the birds much more comfortable in the grueling sun. The edges seem well seamed, and there are plenty of grommets to tie it down.

DECENT PRODUCT - POOR QUALITY CHECKING
I was disappointed that 2 out of 3 packages had holes in them. I returned this item, but if they were free of defects I believe they would have served my purpose well. I think I just got a bad batch. The grommets and webbing are of cheaper quality, but if just used for a covering and not faced with much wind, extreme weather or tension, they will be ok.

Functional but eyeholes not strong enough.
Used maybe 6 times and the eyeholes are tearing out. Worked great to keep sticks leaves in 12 ft short sided trailer while going 60 mph but it only lasted a few trips. Happy with product other than eyeholes are weak.

Shade for chickens
We used this to make shade over the chickens. It worked great, because the wind could go through it, and it created a nice shade for hot summer days!
