Better Than Original RAM-Mount
I have several of these, including original RAM mount short arms. They function perfectly the same, and are in fact better because these include a tension spring inside that prevents the two halves from flopping around loosely when you loosen the locking wing nut. And at a better price! It does not make sense anymore to buy original RAM Mounts. I just wish these were available earlier so I could have bought these instead. 5/5, highly recommend, I would buy more of these again in a heartbeat.

Seriously when I buy things like this, I search and search and search and you betcha I search for the most durable and at a reasonable prize item! I stumbled across greatness! High speeds, a crash, a thunderstorm, they are not budging!! And those are some big marine speakers!! They're also connected with a ball joint mount

These work well
I have several of these for mounting accessories on my motorcycle including a name-brand cell phone holder. They hold securely but are easy to adjust if necessary.

not sure about UV stabisation? PA66+GF30% is Polyamide 66 w/ 30% glass fibre reinforced;as it is black it has 'enhanced' UV protection, but nothing on empirically what that means.So, there's nothing to say, 'it'll last so many days' in typical sunshine or anything.
