First of all I hate the fact that the phone companies are taking away the standard earphone port out of the phone. They are just pushing the new way of using the earphones on the users whether we like it or not. Of course it is the new world that these brands want us to adapt to and oh boy, it is tough. You can't find the same kind of compact bluetooth earphones like the wired one's and then the challenge begins to find an adapter.When I got my hands on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, I quickly realized that I am gonna need earphones because this phone is huge and it is difficult to hold it by the ear if the call goes on for more than a few minutes. I own few pairs of Bose soundsport wired earphones and I think they are the best (they don't make them anymore perhaps because of the stupid phone design changes). In order to use my Bose headphone for the calls and to listen to the music and videos, I started to look around for an adapter. While there are several choices out there, most of them comes with a small wire which I personally find little awkward. Since I haven't used them, can't say about their quality.So I started looking for something that is without the wire and found this little adapter At first I was skeptical about the design for a couple of reasons -1. Sound Quality2. Width of the adapter when plugged inThe width was important because when the phone goes in the pocket with the adapter, I didn't want the earphone jack to stick to the pocket edge and make and awkward bend since now the jack is inserted horizontally as opposed to going in straight if it was to go in the phone directly.As this adapter is not expensive, I decided to give it a shot and I am glad I did.The sound quality is as good as compared to my old phone which had a built-in headphone adapter. Super happy with the sound quality. The plus point is that it can charge the phone simultaneously. I haven't checked how long it takes to charge etc. but it does the job.Horizontal design is still a problem when I go out for a run with phone in my pocket but I think I can live with that inconvenience in order to use my Bose earphones.Overall a great purchase and perhaps I might need one more just because I fear losing it because of it's tiny size.This review is for those folks who are wondering whether to buy this kind of adapter or the wired adapter. If you don't like the adapter with wire, you won't regret buying this one.

I purchased this so that I could use wired headphones and charge my phone at the same time. I listen to a meditation to help me sleep. It was working fine until 3 nights ago when it stopped working. I plugged my charge cord into it, then plugged the adapter into my phone, and noticed the graphic showing the phone is charging did not come up. Then I plugged my headphones into it, started my meditation, but I wasn't hearing it through the headphones. It was coming from the speakers on the phone. Plus I noticed the adapter's plug was loose in the charging port. I unplugged the headphones and could hear crackling as I plugged and unplugged them. Unfortunately it's 24 days past the return window so I can't get a refund. Live and learn.

Like this style because of its size, small and convenience. Bought it from other seller but it broke after a few days and I need a replacement. This one woks great so far with Samsung Note 20 Ultra.

It works great Iuse it in my car to plug in my AUX cord so I can listen to music. But when ever the adapter is plugged in and is slightly tought my music will get paused. The slightest bit of touch with set it off. So I recommend that you lay the phone down and don't touch the adapter while using it.

I bought this 2 months ago and it has loosen up so much that when you plug it into the phone it doesn't stay connected.
