Same o same o, just more expensive.
I've had this set of pots and pans for over a year now and have frequently thought of writing a review on Amazon.com. I also purchased a high-temp spatula to avoid scratching the surface. Within the first two months the 10" skillet was worthless and I threw it out. Food was stuck on the "non-stick" surface permanently. The cooking surface was discolored and there were holes in it as well. I always used cooking oil or spray, as recommended, before I cooked anything in this cookware, but even treating it like a baby was to no avail. I still have the rest of the set and use it cautiously. I had saved the smaller skillet for my "egg pan" and after a short time the eggs would stick in it and it became impossible to make a over-easy egg intact. I have a cast iron skillet that is heavy and not so fancy looking as the Earth Pan stuff is, at least in the beginning. I can cook sunny side up eggs and over easy eggs with no problem in the big, heavy, but beautiful, cast iron pan. I do not recommend this product because for less than half the price you can get non-stick cookware that works as well.

Not nearly as durable as I'd hoped
I really liked the looks, the heft of the pans (not too heavy, but substantial), and the cooking performance of this cookware -- when it was new. I was also swayed by the eco-friendly nature of the non-stick coating. Unfortunately, this cookware set has not held up well at all. I must emphasize that these pans are not recommended for the dishwasher. The manufacturer was clear about this and the company was not kidding. However, house guests unknowingly popped mine into the dishwasher -- with very unfortunate results. The outer finish was ruined. The pans were still usable, but were covered with an ugly, milky-looking "bloom" on the outside. Very unappealing. As to the non-stick interiors, I've had to replace the whole set in a little over a year's time. I haven't yet found truly durable non-stick cookware (suggestions, anyone?); but in the past, I've been able to hold onto good non-stick skillets for a good five years' worth of vigorous, everyday use and with only a reasonable amount care. I'm disappointed with this set.

Disappointed with the lack of endurance of the non stick ...
Disappointed with the lack of endurance of the non stick quality and inability to now get them clean. I originally purchased these pans in April 2012 and was thrilled with their performance, nothing stuck and clean up was a dream. Now, even after following the manufacturer's instructions; never heating higher than medium heat, gently washing etc.; the bottoms are stained and disgusting looking from the stovetop flames and EVERYTHING NOW STICKS to the cooking surface. I never noticed any change in the interior surface, but there is food residue every time I cook. I'd love to find a way to get back the non stick quality they started with. I must also mention that these pans are at our winter home so were not used more than 12 months.

not bad not great..
the set as a whole is fairly nice looking. the main selling point was that i had read some good reviews by pro reviewing sites and it doesnt hurt that its earth friendly. after using them now for a month or so this is my take on the set. overall for the price its just ok. they are not thick..i have owned much cheaper sets that are thicker..if thick isnt an issue with you no worries. the nonstick is pretty good, it works thats really all i can say. the one thing i dont like at all is that the handles on the lids get way way hot...you need a rag or oven mitt to remove it if you want to stir something. the handles on the sides of the pots also very hot...not hot like you touch them and you burn yourself but hot enough to not be able to hold them for more then a couple seconds...again mitts. over all this is an ok set in my opinion and you do get all you need for a basic set..cant complain about the configuration at all.

Can't believe I was duped by Consumer Reports
Got these pans for Christmas for my family, and I purchased here on Amazon. I really liked the safety of the non-stick surface and the PRICE WAS RIGHT. My kids have really gotten into Food Network shows, and so we needed some more pans to allow them to develop their budding talent. These pans were recommended by Consumer Reports, which I normally trust, so I decided to purchase the 10-piece, hard-anodized aluminum version of these pans. However, after a few short weeks, these pans really disappointed me:1. Cannot get the skillets clean. We followed the directions precisely, but no luck in getting these pans clean. I have tried Bar Tender's Friend and just about everything else. Sometimes, out of frustration, I just want to take a good old steel wool to the darn things, but obviously that would ruin the pans.2. The outside of the pans and pots quickly stain and cannot be cleaned.3. Non-stick surface quickly loses its non-stick.They are still serviceable, but I think in the future I will "stick" to stainless steel.

Non-stick does not last, heavy handle
This is supposed to be non-stick but after a few months of average use food started sticking to it.The handles on the small pot and small fry pan are heavier than the pans themselves and tip them over when empty or very little for in them. Going back to cast iron.

Great in the beginning, but non-stick surface comes off
I really loved this product in the beginning. Nice set, all the right sizes, and the non-stick feature was awesome. I purchased this product in 2009, and cook a few times a week. I've taken good care of this set from day one. Always washed by hand, and never used utensils that would scratch the surface.About 6 months ago the pots and pans became very hard to clean. Today they are simply not useable. There's no non-stick coating left, not even in the large pot which I exclusively use for soup and pasta (how much damage could I really have done to that one?)Although I am happy that I have not been eating teflon for the past year and a half, I am upset that these supposed "green" pots and pans need to be replaced so quickly. That's not green at all!As an afterthought, the two small pots are really small, and it's weird that the pots are rounded instead of at 90 degree angles with the bottom. But I made it work. My only real complaint is that they don't last.
