I recently broke my wrist and had to have surgery, putting in a plate and screws in my wrist. I have a dark spot under my scar that after 8 weeks still shows. Initially it was bruised, but not sure what it is exactly. I decided to try this whitening body lotion to see if it would lighten the area. A little goes a long way. I have been using daily now for 3 weeks and the area is lightening up but not sure if its from the lotion or just healing. I'm not showing a picture although I tried to document but the scar is pretty significant and don't want to post for people to see. I've had no reaction on my arm and it seems safe to try on other areas.

This Vita Collagen Whitening Body Lotion is pleasant smelling and hydrates well. I prefer my lotions to be non-scented, so too much smell for my taste, but again not a bad smell. It leaves a little bit of a residue on your skin after application which feels a little bit oily and/or sticky, but not nearly as bad as most of the grocery store brands. The lotion is from Korea, which has a lot better track record for beauty ingredients being accurately listed on the labels. The bottle and box are shiny silver with very small black printing on them in English and Korean, so were extremely hard to read. I took a picture and was able to read it there... picture included... the ingredients listed are not bad. The main skincare ingredients are vitamins A and B, collagen, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. Most of which are common ingredients in skin products. Vitamin A is actually retinol, and niacinamide (B3) is used to treat skin inflammation (acne, rosacea), hyaluronic acid and collagen, although great for the skin, are molecules that are too be to be absorbed into the skin and are really better taken internally. Overall, nothing listed is horrible and most are common in most skin products and all the ingredients have skincare benefits. The whitening effect is only achieved over the long term and through consistent use. I will update this review if I see any dramatic changes to my skin with the use of this product.

This lotion feels like sunscreen to me. Its thick and it takes a lot of effort to spread and rub in. It definitely will lighten your skin, but I think its due to some ingredient that just gives that sunscreen like white cast. I haven't noticed any long term improvement.

This review is for KSECRET Vita Collagen Secret Whitening Body Lotion, 200ml / 6.76fl.oz.This is a large bottle of whitening lotion. But I have to say this first, the scent is really quite strong. I personally do not like strong scented products and unfortunately this scent is too strong for me. However, the scent is a nice scent. "Fragrance" ingredient is pretty high on the list of ingredients, and I think they can bump it way down and use less. The lotion does seem to leave a white cast, and looking at the ingredients I do see titanium dioxide (used in mineral sunscreens) which tends to leave a white cast because it is white in color. It is a thicker type of lotion and need to distribute it well on the skin otherwise it will show up white on the skin similar to a mineral sunscreen. I'm not sure if this product permanently changes the color of my uneven skin because I haven't really noticed any change.
