Amazing camera!
Are you doing video calls? Teaching classes on line? Streaming out to the world? This is an amazing bit of kit. The only thing - ONLY THING - I wish they would change is the hand gesture - "L" - for zoom control. My audience kept commenting "loser" in a funny way...soooo, my zoom controls are only done with my Stream Deck. Other than that...WOW!

Far better and more value than most PTZ 4K Webcams
I love OBSBOT products. I own three cameras all together going back no just over two years, and all three are excellent and dependable. Most importantly, the software you can get from OBSBOT (simply called OBSBOT Webcam which replaces their earlier software called Tinycam) has vastly improved over the last year or so, to the point I consider it an absolute must for these cameras (but it doesn't slow down, crash, or otherwise behave funny in Windows 10 or 11).You can also get an affordable remote which I have as well, and it works too -I've used, since the pandemic began, well over a dozen total webcams from different manufacturers. These include bigger names like Logitech, Wirestorm, Yealink, and Boom, and many lesser known brands (some of which have been alright!). Overall, I consider OBSBOT my favorite. All manufacturers of dedicated Webcams seem to "create" a unique look and have their own standard for contrast, brightness, sharpness, and so forth. My impression of OBSBOT is that it's not heavy handed one way or the other, but does have an overall darker exposure than many if not most. So, you may have to tweak your setting in your software that uses the webcam (like Zoom, Teams, etc) or use the OBSBOT Webcam software for that which works well. I like that it doesn't try too hard to make things overly bright and "beautiful" by making my face look plastic and overly smooth like some seem to do.I would not say the picture quality is astonishing - but excellent for a webcam. Frankly, I think Logitech has picture quality dialed pretty good, if that's the MOST important aspect - but for the price you basically can't beat it if PTZ is a must for you (it really is for me). The software makes controlling the camera even during meetings a breeze. And, yes, you can create and save fixed angle/zoom/tilt in the software (but it'll have to be running in the background to work reliably in your app of choice). Also, while you don't see a "privacy cover" that's easy - tilt the lens down towards the main body and poof, you've put it to sleep. While not as reliable as a hard cover, it works just fine (just know that if you click to turn on your camera in say Zoom, it'll turn the camera on or wake it). You can also tell it to go to sleep in the app including how long to stay on if not in use.Comes with a very nice, and I mean VERY nice zippered case that'll hold everything but the little tripod it comes with. I don't use the tripod but do have many other much taller/bigger tripods I do use with it. I've never actually used the monitor mount but it's quite strong and functional too (I just prefer stands or tripods for control). Finally, the internal microphone is legions better than most webcam microphones. Seriously. As in, actually dependable and usable. That said, I almost never use it as I have multiple dedicated microphones I prefer to use. But, it really is usable compared to nearly every other built-in webcam mic I've every tried - so if that's important to you, know that the microphone is fine (but built-in webcam microphones simply won't ever improve on dedicated high-quality microphones made for personal or conference room use in my opinion). One big selling point with OBSBOT is the gesture control. Sorry, I don't use it. I love this camera for the quality it has in the optics, PTZ control, and software. That said, the gestures do work and work as advertised (yes, I've tried them - they're just not my thing). If you need a very good 4K PTZ webcam at a great price - even for a high quality conference room set up - you should consider OBSBOT.

The most user friendly webcam!
This webcam is fantastic! I'll add some nitpicks down below but I have no qualms recommending this webcam to anyone. Power users will love the options in the software. Regular users will love how easy it is to get it set up just right every time. Other people will appreciate the video quality of your stream. This camera can do it all.First off, the follow feature works really well. It took me a couple of tries to figure out how to get the hand gestures working and what the light status bar on the front of the webcam base is telling me. I ended up downloading their software and used that until I got the hang of the hand gestures and status bar. But.... they work pretty well. A wide green light means its tracking, a narrow green light means it's in normal mode. The growing blue lights is showing you when it recognizes your hand gesture and has turned on either tracking or zoom. Not exactly intuitive until you play with the camera some but very easy to use and watch out of the corner of your eye on a meeting so you don't miss the actual conversation. The video quality is great! It handles my dimly lit office very well. Even zoomed in, the quality still looks solid. The best part of the 4K sensor is the zoom I think. I can zoom in, still have an HD video signal, and have less in the background showing when I'm sitting still. Or I can leave it zoomed out and use the full 4K signal. HDR was...underwhelming in my dimly lit office. If I had backlighting or a huge open window nearby flooding my office with light it might be more useful. If I turn on HDR in my dim office it tries to artificially brighten my skin and it just ends up looking odd. Not a big deal to just leave it off for me.The audio quality is very good for a webcam. I only tried it in a quiet setting but it picked up my voice with no issues from 3ish feet away. I tend to use a headset though just because audio will always be better when the mic is closer to the sound source. But if I forgot my headset I wouldn't mind using the on board mics. The gimbal... this is the absolute best part. The follow feature is nice. But what makes this webcam so great is that unlike most webcam, I can reposition it almost without thinking. Instead of having to fiddle with a monitor mount and worrying about the camera shifting when I take my hand off.... I just point the camera where I want it and it stays. Boom. Done. Easy. I can point the camera down to put it to sleep and its very obvious if it's on versus being alseep. I can point the camera at something on my desk and it just stays there. I can reposition the camera so my face is framed nicely and it just stays. It's so easy!Alright, the nitpicks. I wish I didn't have to download software to use some of the more advanced features (like turning HDR on or off). If this camera had a web UI that I could control it from, something like a router, that would be really cool. Not sure how feasible that would be but it would be amazing to have it be entirely self contained. Especially since the software doesn't have a native linux version. The monitor mount is a little big - if you have narrow bezels the mount will block part of your screen. The case it comes with is big. It's a hard case to protect the gimbal but it's big and bulky - this camera isn't a no brainer to toss in your bag since the (granted really nice) case is just so big.I would like a physical webcam cover. Pointed down and asleep is nice but a physical cover would be cool too. Maybe turn the ting around the lens into a magnet and have one that can snap on.I'm getting into dream land now. If you are on the fence about getting this webcam - buy it! It's so easy to use and it opens up so much freedom. If you want to walk and talk in a virtual meeting...now you can and people can still see you. If you struggle with pointing your webcam just right...not an issue with this webcam. If you want to automate different positions for your webcam to point...done. This is just so versatile if you want it to be and so easy to use for everyone else.

Very nice webcam but I have an issue.
When this camera was working it was great. I've since had a problem where it seems to be dead but for now I'll review on how it worked before the issue. Setup was fairly simple out of the box and only complicated by the need to install software. I'd prefer to not have to but it does add the extra functionality so not too much of a pain. The software had a lot of options and is most useful for controlling the AI tracking. Said tracking works very well and almost too good to the point that I wished it would just sit still sometimes. It did follow me right around the room though. Video quality is top notch as you expect for a 4k camera. I'm not too concerned about privacy but it is a really neat feature where you can just flip the camera down to turn it off and turning in on again is simple too. I'd say it really is the best webcam I've ever seen. I can't seem to get it turn on anymore and I'm not sure of that's a defect issue or the cords I'm using are bad. Something to keep in mind though.

Heating and flashing problems in transmission
The camera gets extremely overheated and starts flashing in the middle of the transmission for no reason.
