Cute but.. not very big. It could hold a single whiskey glass, or one cupcake. I wouldn't really call this a Dessert display. It has a spot for piping in smoke for your whiskey. I tried it and it worked pretty alright.

Don't be fooled by the 'cake display stand' in the item description... a cupcake, maybe. This thing is only about 4 inches wide. I did read the dimensions before ordering, so the size was not an issue for me. I use these to display small candles and/or small plants, so it suits my purposes just fine. It's really pretty. The base does seem to be wood.
