So far we are impressed with the quality of the pot and the nonstick surface. I love the drainage capabilities, but a little disappointed that the materials for the lid are a little thin. I expected a better build compared to the actual pot. Other than that, looking forward to making some great meals and more to come!

I always was struggling when making pasta, my son got this pot for me and I love it. Makes a lot easier for drain the pasta. Really good quality and the size is perfect.

Gotham Steel 5 Quart Stock Pot: A Great All-Purpose Performer I recently purchased the Gotham Steel 5 Quart Stock Pot to replace a bulky, traditional stockpot, and it has quickly become a favorite in my kitchen. Its ceramic titanium non-stick coating is the real star—it makes cleanup after cooking pasta, soups, or chili an absolute breeze. Nothing sticks, and a quick wipe or rinse is usually all it needs. The pot feels surprisingly lightweight, which is a major plus when dealing with a full 5 quarts of water or stew. The handles stay cool on the stovetop, providing a secure grip. I’ve found it to be truly multipurpose: excellent for boiling pasta, simmering sauces, making rice, and even steaming vegetables with the included glass lid. It transitions from stove to table nicely. My only minor note is that, like most non-stick surfaces, I avoid using metal utensils to preserve the coating. For the price, this pot offers excellent value. It's durable, easy to use, and incredibly easy to clean. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable, no-fuss stockpot for everyday cooking.

The strainer idea in the lid works very well and the pot is thin metal but very strong. It's non stick and sponge washable as long as you don't cook anything without water (stir frying is O-U-T!). For pasta, soup, stews and the like, it works great and draining pasta is a breeze. Just turn the lock knobs in, tilt it away form you and drain. You can even set it on it's side in the sink to let it drain completely while you prep other things. ONLY problem I have found is washing the lid is a bit of a chore, but it fits perfectly, and you can boil water on 5. Just never use Hi as it will bow the bottom.

Decent pot! Non stick as advertised! I do have the hexagonal designed price pots and pans for daily use. These come in handy for noodles and chili batches for a fraction of the price. The locking lid to pour out water is very helpful. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an inexpensive, quality piece of cookware. Intended use is not much, but is durable when needed.

We’ve been using the Gotham Steel Ceramic Stock Pot for almost a year now, and it's become a staple for us in the kitchen - especially for big family meals. The 5-quart size easily accommodated our family's needs for 5-6 people, whether it was pasta, soups and stews or good old fashioned (and fluffy) non-soggy rice we're south asian so don't like it when rice is sticky. The nonstick ceramic interior is still working like new, a few scratches but be sure to use non-stick spoon and accessories, easy making and easy to clean up with hand. At first, I worried about the handles not being durable, since my sister's same pot's handles became non-tight, but so far ours has been perfect...and the twist-and-lock handles keep the handles secure, preventing spills (great for someone who measures "the right amount" with his eyeball). The strainer lid is brilliant when draining pasta or washing grains, and the copper base is a hair better looking. Everything we made in it—from curries to chewy rice, soup, stew and cooked evenly without scorching. Even if sometimes food got burnt or stuck it was easy to cleak just soak it for couple of hour and easy to clean. Be sure to use gentle sponge or else it will get ruined. 10/10 (the only thing I would want is for it to come in a larger stockpot for bigger gatherings)!

This is a terrific idea! Gotham steel makes it sound like Batman also has one…which is a plus! It looks great just sitting quietly on the hob hiding its ability to stop you losing half your dinner down the sink! It’s great quality, works well although the handles do heat up a bit. It’s so easy to wash and is brilliantly non stick.
