This is an electrical light. I thought I had ordered a battery operated light, however, it was so beautiful. I could not bear to return it so I used it in this manner on my patio screened in porch. I turned it upside down and used a battery powered candle.The glass is a beautiful rich shade of green that reminds me of 1960. Jeanette glass in the middle portion is a muted gold which is totally fabulous.

When ordering online it’s sometimes difficult to know how you’ll feel once you receive the item. I ordered this vanity light fixture for my master bath. As soon as I opened the box I liked the look. The quality is great and once installed I’m very pleased. It is beautiful. If you’re on the fence as to whether or not to order this item …. Just order, you won’t be disappointed.

This light is absolutely beautiful ! I love it! Very well made, and extremely pretty & stylish. Just remember that it needs to be wired into a place on the wall that has an outlet box and that box needs to be wired to a wall switch. If you really read the specs & directions thoroughly you will as it says " APP" next to control method. It isn't true. It does not work with any APP. Don't believe it. I made that mistake and unfortunately the spot that I picked did not have an outlet box with a wall switch. Luckily, my Dad is a jack of all trades and a pretty darn good electrician. We added a cord that had a switch on it. The cord is black, the switch is black, ( you can buy them very cheap.)We had to splice the chord open to expose the wire, run the cord to the back of the light, add the switch to the cord which requires you to split the cord and figure out which wires control the on and off. We did all this, plugged it in to a wall socket down at the bottom of the wall and I can now turn it on with the switch which I placed about 1 inch below the light. Don't get this if you don't have an outlet box that connects to a wall switch. If you don't mind doing a little electrical work , it really is pretty enough to be worth it. Otherwise make sure there is an outlet box and a wall switch , and either a switch directly on the light or a chord to run the to the wall plug. From what I researched it is easier to find one with the court that goes to a wall plug than to find one with a direct switch on the actual light. I don't know if my explanation makes great sense I am not an electrician. But it's the best I know to explain why you have to know the difference in the type of wall scone you buy before you buy it. Otherwise the light itself is GORGEOUS! :)

This bathroom vanity light looks really nice and adds a stylish touch to the space. It uses G9 bulbs, which give off a soft, warm glow. However, it’s not extremely bright, so it’s better suited for ambiance or smaller bathrooms rather than as a primary light source.If you want something pretty and gentle rather than super bright, this is a good choice. Just keep in mind it won’t flood the room with light.

Update with pics- Still loving these lights. I get so many complements on them. Only negative is the type of bulb they need, a G9 halogen. I did not want to use a halogen bulb as they get hot and use more energy. This was my fault as I did not read the description well but was able to find and LED equivalent on Amazon.Using these lights on an old hutch I am converting to a coffee bar. We wired them with a plug so they can be moved with the hutch if needed. They are so pretty and look very vinatge. The quality is amazing for the price, I got two for what I would have paid for one in local stores. Will post pictures once project is finished. You will not be disappointed with these lights!

We got a set of two of these to replace some sconces in our guest room. They are beautiful! I love the way they look, the light, and they were easy to install. Our only issue is we assumed these had a switch as the ones we replaced had a pull chain to turn them on and off but we didn’t even think to check for that in the description. The way the wiring is results in these being always on so we had to take the bulbs out and we will be looking for a way to add a switch. Just a heads up for people in similar situations! We didn’t know the bedroom switch only controlled the over head light because the sconces were busted when we moved in. If not for my blonde moment these would be perfect! I’m determined to make them work because they are so beautiful.
