Fits perfectl for hand held Dyson Vacuum. Use care when installing the hing.
Works perfectly. The Dyson vacuum door latch broke off when dropped. The part was a perfect replacement. It takes a little finesse to release and reinstall the door at the hing. There weren't any installation instructions with the parts. It tried to pry with a small flat screwdriver and that did not work. I had success with needle nose pliers. I gently grabbed the hing on the old lid and pulled it away from the receiver. The other side slipped out. With new lid I inserted one side of the hing in place and gently pulled the other side so it would slip into the receiver on the body of the dust bin.

Fits and seals like factory part
Fits perfectly and seals great. Feels like similar quality to the factory part. Easy to swap out, just be careful because it is plastic and any plastic part can be prone to breakage with enough force.

Poor seal, and the latch broke after a few months.
Almost broke my hand getting the original lid off my dustbin. Nobody seems to have an issue getting the lid OFF so theirs must have broke off, but I had to remove the existing lid and following the videos where they twisted and turned it, and it was so EASY. NOT. I almost gave up when it finally popped off. Getting the new lid on was a piece of cake, I agree. However, now I have to force the lid closed because the rubber seal does not leave enough clearance and hits the Rim of the bin. Suddenly, I have no suction. This $400 machine does not operate because the 3 cent snap on my lid broke, and this new lid does not work.
