This is an excellent cutting mat. In fact, I doubt there is a better mat than this one. I use it for a variety of materials - wood veneer, leather, cardboard, etc. It is very sturdy, quite firm, and lays flat from edge to edge. It has a smooth yet non-slip surface, and when used with very sharp tools, its self healing properties are excellent. Because is so durable and double sided, it will last for many years. It is well worth the $38 I paid for it.

Lots of inches shaved off the claim of 24x36. Jumps from 18" to 20" and ends at 34 length. Otherwise it's nice and sturdy works for crafts. Just weird measurements!!

I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out why my measurements were off, I finally noticed the skipped the #19!!!! The "24" inch board measures 23 5/8", but the ruler marked portion is only 22"!!!! They skipped on the size and tried to hide it by skipping an inch mark. This could cost someone a lot if they use the mat to measure an important item to cut!!!! Additionally it's not self healing!

Numbering is wrong.. I’m hoping they will return it
