Quality is great!
For the money, you can’t come close! This fish tape is strong, robust and works great! It’s probably the best fish tape I’ve used and 1/3 the price of the big names.

Study fish tape, good value for the money.
I have owned an number of fish tapes, all have had issues over time. This one seems relatively well built and certainly a good value for the money for non professional use.

Worked as needed
Good price, did what it says, has oil on it i guess to prevent rust. Only wish it had something to lock it in place so it would not uncoil. I tied or tapes it down so it won’t unwind.

Sturdy fish tape, easy to push through conduit
I was impressed with out stiff this fish tape was. It made it easy to push through a partially filled conduit that blocked my short fish tape.I haven't tested it against a longer run yet but I'm expecting it to work great.

Was it shipping or weak plastic
1st time used. Handle snapped during retraction. We own another with rampro name that is working fine after dozens of uses. Was it Amazon that sent the Drixet as Rampro ?

Much better and easier to use than a Kit included snake
I bought an in-wall wiring kit for a TV outlet higher in the wall. It included a snake tool but I wasn’t sure how good it would be so I ordered this fish tape wire puller. I tried using the supplied snake and it was about as useful as using cooked spaghetti to feed wires through the wall.I pulled this out and figure I’d give it a try and to my amazement this quickly reached the other opening even with insulation in the wall. This took no time at all to get the wires where I needed them. I saw some not great reviews for this but not sure what their issue was because I found it a great asset to wire fishing.

Not an electrician, but this tool worked
I needed to run ethernet cable about 75 feet in this tool made it happen for me. Have used a few more times pulling power cables in walls and haven’t had any problems

Works, but not the best
Does the job. I liked it but it's not my favorite. Feels rigid and can be hard to roll back.

Economical Cable Fishing Tool
I have read numerous reviews regarding this product. If you take a little time to understand the way the fishing wire extends and retracts before you use it, you will find that it does exactly what it should do. I had a 25 foot run with a 90º turn before another 6 foot run in a 2 inch diameter PVC "chase" tube. I pulled a fibre optic cable (sheaved in a ⅛ inch cover) through the chase with no difficulty whatsoever. However, I must note that the steel fishing cable can be bent if a moderate pressure is applied. This happened to me, but the line still retracted without issue. I have used this tool in several similar conduit "chases" and it continues to perform as expected. The price is right. The tool gets the job done.

So far, works as described
Works ok but is not as sturdy as expected. Ran security system cabling through attic and the fish tape curled and wouldn't run straight.
