I LOVE this device! I bought it to hold a fridge door close because its seal was not as strong as it used to be. Therefore, the refrigerator door wouldn’t close tightly. This device solved my problem and it was SUPER EASY to install. It’s not really an installation. It’s more like getting the area clean so it sticks firmly (it’s a 3M tape) and then placing it in the correct position. That’s all there is to it. It’s also extremely easy to open but children don’t have the coordination or intellect to open it. So great for child proofing.

Best Invention Ever My family for sum reason at times, fail to completely close the garage refrigerator (freezer section) door. And this refrigerator doesn’t have a noise indicator that the more expensive ones have. So after installing this device it just provides the reassurance that the freezer door is promptly close by the confirmation sound of the click noise. And to open it just lightly press down the 2 buttons on the device to release the lock. So so simple. After installing never experienced thawed food or melting ice in the freezer.

This product is great! Exactly as described and pictured. The installation was quick, the door is secured, and using it is very easy. I highly recommend.

Our 40-year upright Kenmore freezer doesn't quite seal as quickly as it used to. If you don't push real hard on the door, at the top and at the bottom, the magnetic seal does not seal all the way and allows warm, moist air to seep in, which creates a tremendous amount of frost on everything in the freezer. Not all of the adults in our household know the secret handshake on the proper way to close this freezer door, so I was on the lookout for a solution. Saw this freezer door latch on Amazon, it looked pretty interesting, so I thought I'd give it a try. This thing is a godsend! As long as you push the door until this latch clicks, the door closes properly. Easy to install, and does a fantastic job of keeping the freezer door sealed shut.

I didn’t buy this to keep a toddler or child out of my fridge, I bought it to keep my 175lb dog from opening up the fridge eating all the meat then leaving it open for everything thing else to spoil . It was easy to put on, as well as easy to use! So if you have a toddler this will definitely work to keep them out of the fridge or freezer !

We purchased this on May 19 2026. And today June 10 2026 my 4 year old toddler tornado figured it out. I really do love this lock it was great while it lasted we are back to the drawing board on keeping him out of the refrigerator and freezer ( he is a climber) and he loves to smash eggs. The product is very easy to install, and is super strong. Great price, had hardly any noise the last is a click to know it's locked. The fit was perfect. Material very strong. I have it on three appliances.

We picked this up a few months ago for our garage refrigerator and freezers after having issues with the freezer doors popping open and food starting to thaw. Since putting it on, it’s honestly been really useful and has given us a lot more peace of mind, especially knowing the doors are staying closed. Pros: • easy adhesive installation with no drilling • opens easily with one hand for adults • difficult for small children or pets to figure out • does not leave damage or sticky residue behind • normally open option is convenient • rotating head design works well for different door styles and angles • helps keep freezer and refrigerator doors securely closed Cons: • adhesive needs time to fully set before it holds its best. (this is important) What stood out to me most is how simple it is to use day to day. It doesn’t make opening the fridge annoying, but it does exactly what we needed by keeping the doors from popping open. For us, it ended up being a really practical fix for a frustrating problem.

I purchased this probably 9 months ago and held off reviewing to make sure it held up, and it has!!! Super easy to use and it has stayed solid in place! Definitely recommend if you have toddlers who love to play in the fridge.
