My initial enthusiasm over this sleek appearing foil cutter waned when it literally broke in half after opening less than ten bottles of wine. I work at a restaurant so I only got about two hours of usage.Might be a good option for home users but it definitely lacks the durability needed to use at the professional level. Waste of ten bucks.

This was a replacement for a slightly more expensive unit that easily broke when dropped. It works every bit as well, albeit needing a little harder grip. I do not think it will break when the inevitable drop comes.

metal cutter is glued, the glue failed so it fell apart. I bought a cutter to replace it that has the metal cutter screwed on, not glued. Don't waste your money on this one.

A wine drinker by conviction, this is the best, sharpest, quickest, neatest of all that I have used.

It does the job, the materials aren't top quality metal, but everything from can openers these days use sub par metals.
