purchased xl. great leather hat. but whoever is the genius shipping these things in a bag, first off I dont like paying $50 for something & it comes all crushed up in a bag like a 5$ toy, the front my hat came crushed, i mean crushed , no reshaping to it crease lines have been made because of it ruining the front of a beautiful hat. yea I love the hat tho & yes spent better half hours trying to reshape it, terrible just a terrible idea, a foldable hat or not, put the darn thing in a box lord knows were paying enough for them. it's a great hat tho & u might not have these problems & in no way wanna say dont get this hat cause it is good quality leather & build. just beware tho they ship it in a bag & could come all messed up so fyi. I rated 3 stars for this reason & whoever had this idea needs to be in the unemployment line. bit great hat if I can get it back to normal, idk what I'm gonna do yet. will update.

I looooove this hat. It fit perfect and looks great! I go hiking every weekend and will not leave my house without it! It keeps me cool in the sun and I live in Central Arizona so it gets HOT. It stays on my head even when it’s breezy and doesn’t even slip or slide.

I am slightly disappointed. I was under the impression this hat was similar to the one that Clint Eastwood wore in the spaghetti western films. When it arrived (far sooner than expected) I tried it on and found it to be more of a typical look. The quality is exceptional. It's made of thick, heavy duty leaner. This hat could withstand a beating as advertised. My only grievance is the shape of the hat, as previously mentioned. I was thinking it was flat billed rather than curved.

I bought this one as a gift.However, I bought mine in Mackinac Island, a couple years ago.Here's what's up. This hat. That's what's up.Hahaha seriously though, it's solid construction, and comfort fit makes this the perfect hat for the out doors. Made of real leather, it has breather holes on either sides of the cap, so it is breathable. This hat is a favorite of mine, as I like to camp. This hat is perfect for camping, as it can keep your head warm, it'll keep the sun out of your eyes, as well as the wind and rain. Come what may, Minnatonka's got you covered.Rock on with your cool lookin' hat.

Having owned a Minnetonka hat for two decades I was hopeful that a new color would be just as good as the old one. Sizing is changed. My large hat is now a small. I have ordered and received a small happy with it. The large and medium both measured larger than the scale provided by 1 1/3 inch placing them on top of or over my ears.Happy with my small hat . All the hats appeared well made. I easily found new homes for them.

The large fit me a bit bigger than other “large” hats I’ve bought. Otherwise this hat is totally awesome! I took it on a camping vacation in Peru and it was perfect! I loved being able to fold the hat for the airplane trips or anytime it was too windy or hot to wear it. It popped back to shape every time and still looks great! The brim is nice and wide and keeps the sun off my face and neck. It’s not too hot and I was able to wear it on pretty warm and sunny days. I even wore it in rain and it held up fantastic! No stains, dries quickly. I love that it’s 100% genuine leather!

Love this hat. Bought it for camping. Been wearing it on all my camping trips for the last 4 years. It's great for most weathers except when it's hot. Being leather, it's not breathable at all. But I still love it. Lots of comments from people about the style... 'Indiana Jones' and 'Crocodile Dundee' references. But essentially, the look of it stands out and most people like it.After 4 years, it still looks good. The decorative leather strip has unglued so I just cut the last thread and threw it in the rubbish.Only down side is that after you get it, once it takes a certain shape, you won't be able to get it to 're-shape'. Mine has the bends slightly off centre (drives me nuts) but oh well - gives it character.Great hat. Very stylish and gets positive feedback from onlookers. Comfortable and it takes a beating well. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I bought a size medium size (which is perfect for my head) of this hat way back, but when it's left in a hot car, or just gets hot and dry, it shrinks and it too tight. I just bought the large (which is too big for me) to see if maybe it would shrink to my head. I've had it a couple of weeks and it's getting there... So my issue is more with the fact that my head isn't the right size. But that said, these hats are the best that I've ever worn in terms of comfort and durability. A really great item... except why on earth is the hat band hot glued onto the otherwise impeccable craftsmanship?
