It did the job of eliminating odors in my shoe closets however, they don't last long. It needs to be replaced every month or less. It absorbs moisture, easy to use by just handing in the closet bar, the size is ok,the price for a pack us great, it performed well as it said.

I’ve had this musty smell in my bath that wouldn’t go away. I tried everything including paying to snake the drain and it didn’t solve it. In desperation I decided I went searching for a solution which got me to this. A week in and the smell has vanished. Gone! It was apparently moisture/dampness and this has sucked it! It’s collected a descent amount of water in just a week. I’m a believer!

I use these religiously in the basement - here in Maine I have no issues with water in my basement like so many others but the musty smell that comes with warmer weather and rain permiates most basements. I hang one and have no issues with the musty odors. I have used the main brand for years. Years. Decided to place this on subscribe and save as it does cost less, and yes, it works as well and so I am quite pleased.

I use these in my bedroom by the window and in my closet. They work fantastic! I have ordered more and recommend to anyone who has extra moisture in places where they don't want it. You will be surprised as to all the water it will suck up. This is a fantastic buy.

I’ve used these in our camper for two years now. The first season, I was shocked by how well they worked. After 3 months of storage, the bags below the desiccant were full of water, I used two in our camper and zero moisture issues. This year, I replaced the two depleted ones with new. They also have a fresh scent.

I bought this six pack of Arm & Hammer Moisture Absorber & Odor Eliminator packs and put them in 4 bedroom closets, an entrance way closet and a mud room/laundry room closet.The photo is the packs from the bedrooms (I had already emptied and thrown the other 2 out). I put them in about 10 weeks ago and at first the scent seemed a bit strong, but within a few days it was more subtle. I keep my closet doors closed as we humidify our house in the winter so heating all winter doesn’t dry out our hardwood floors.They quickly started to gather moisture and the closets went from a bit stuffy to fresh smelling. I did not notice any odour on clothing. Over time the speed at which the bags were filling slowed down, presumably because any excess moisture in the closets had been collected.I had no issues with any leaks, I put them in the farthest end of the closets and (as directed) I made sure that there were no sharp objects or edges that they could come in contact with.I just bought and installed replacement packs for all 6 closets. Once it gets warmer and we start up the air conditioning, I am sure they will collect less moisture, but I still like the freshness and I feel confident that we are avoiding any mould issues in the closets.Update: I now change the bags out around every 6 months or so and I still love the freshness of my closets.

I didn't run into any issues noted in the bad reviews. No bags broke, no water leakage. The room I used them for was very damp, so the bags may have filled up quicker than usual, regardless, I got a good three weeks out of each one. I would definitely recommend and purchase again.
