Wolfenstein: The Board Game (Core Game) ARK WOLF0001

I originally got this game for Christmas and it turned out to be my favorite board game! It is also a great game for Wolfenstein fans.

Make sure you have previous knowledge and tools/glue from other miniature hobbies. I play Warhammer 40k so I'm fine, but if you think you can easily assemble these right out the box then you'd be wrong. I plan on painting and even modding a few but if you're new to assembling minis, this might be over whelming.One thing I didn't like, and why I gave it 4 stars is because it feels like the assembling manual is not the greatest. I mean, some minis it's easily to follow and that's great. But specifically, the Soldat and Space Marine gave me the most trouble to assemble. Maybe It was all me but I swear some of the arms didn't want to fit even after sanding. Had to use green stuff to fill in the gaps and unevenness. Secondly, little cord that goes on the side of the space marine is SO HARD TO SEE to find the right direction to glue it in. Like I wish the was more angles in the manual that shows how it looks. Had to look up YouTube videos to see how other people did theirs.Overall, I love this game and models. And it's definelty a must for board gamers and Wolfenstein fans alike, I just wish it was a little more fine tuned in the models and manual.

He’s painting all the pieces. Has kept him busy for a long long time! Loves the game and has fun playing it with the grand parents. He did play the video game so he knew what to expect.

I’m a game collector. I’m always on the lookout for a new, exciting miniatures adventure game. Doom, Spacehulk, Descent, TMNT, Batman and warhammer Quest are some of my favorites in this genre. So how does it stack up? Very well. The game includes a plethora of finely detailed miniatures. (You will need to assemble them which is a royal pain in the butt). But if you like to assemble and paint highly detailed minis you will love it. Miniatures aside, the game is solid with well-written adventures that build on each other to tell an epic story. There is also an expansion that extends the game too. Gameplay is well done and fun to play in. It is one of the better miniature adventure games. A keeper for me.

Hello. I got this game in the Kickstarter. Looks like this will be fun if you like the theme. This comment is to underscore a comment in the description. "Miniatures require assembly and glue." The miniatures are basically plastic models, much like model airplane kits. There are a LOT of small bits that you will need to cut off of plastic spruces and glue them together (hopefully with something like Testors liquid cement for plastic.) You will not be able to play the game with the miniatures right out of the box. As there are over 50 miniatures, you are looking at many hours of slowly putting together the minis. Having said all that, the minis look pretty good, definitely fit the theme. Once assembled and painted, this should look great on the table. It is just that it is going to be a month of model making and painting before it will see the gaming table...
