Purchased this item to replace the muddy grass in our dog run. What a relief! My white dogs stay clean and this item works perfectly!Update: We placed this Pet Fake Grass inside our 10x6x6 AKC dog run. Works perfectly. Dogs go right in and use the facility without any fuss. Easy to keep clean by spraying down with a light mixture of dawn soap and water. We got over 2 feet of snow and we were able to shovel the snow without disturbing the mat underneath. Easy to clean up. No more muddy dogs.

This worked out better than I'd expected. The 8' x 12' fit my space perfectly, which is used as a potty zone for my dogs while I'm at work. It was laid over dirt and pea gravel and is bordered by more gravel. It's completely under cover in an enclosed deck with no exposure to rain, so it needs to be hosed off daily or it can begin to smell bad very quickly. It's on a slope, which helps since the water just flows away into my lawn. It's quite diluted by then, so there's no burned grass like the other spots where my dogs go. If not for the slope and plenty of room for the waste water to drain away, I don't think would work nearly as well as a place for dogs to go potty. But it works perfectly for me. Also, it looks like freshly mowed grass; not the fake turf I was expecting. And it feels great to walk on, too -- for me and the dogs. I'm very happy with the purchase.

We love it! We used it for our patio and it looks so nice. When we sit in our Florida room looking outside it looks like real grass. Very nice. And it is sturdy and easy to place and cut.

I installed this in my gravel yard in the far corner for my dogs. I raked the stones away, did not level just laid two 5x5 sections together with yard pins. Within the week, both dogs were using the area exclusively, easy pickup and the rest of my yard is poop free, fantastic!!

We bought this for our chicken coop, to go in the nesting boxes. Everything else we bought, the chickens kicked out. These stay in really well, and are still soft enough! We've already washed or brushed them off, both super easy.

Purchased to replace a backyard with all shade and no grass. Our dogs turned the backyard into a dirt pile so we decided to put down some turf. Ordered just under 1000 square feet and had plenty. It was easy to install and cut to fit the tight spaces with sharp scissors. It took three full days to prep the yard and lay the turf. Used 1000 yard staples placed about every 4 inches along the perimeter of the pieces to tack it down and keep the seams tight. Will see how it holds up with a golden retriever and two jack russels.

The reviews were very misleading. I was under the assumption I was getting a good product for an amazing price. Turns out it was the opposite. I just wasted 15 dollars on something worth 5.The second I pulled it out of the box it was rolled up. I unhooked the tape and unrolled it only to have it immediately start shedding. The material, which I assumed to be soft or at the very least like those fake grass welcome mats, is actually just the plastic needles used in fake Christmas trees glued down. It is coarse and looks incredibly cheap up close. What's more moving it only dislodged more needles everywhere. The back was bent from being rolled up and had a strange white stain across it.I can't even use it for what a bought it for. It was made to be a cage liner, but evidently that is not meant to be. It sheds too much and my pet is liable to eat the needles. Not even sure it is worth the trouble to return. Guess I learned my lesson. Sometimes reviews aren't always accurate.

I ordered this artificial grass to use in our chicken coop nest boxes and it works great!My chickens like to sleep in the nest boxes (I know, it's a bad habit) because we have a tiny coop (only 3 chickens) and they like to huddle together. As you know if you have chickens, anywhere they sleep, there is lots of poop left behind. I had been using nest box straw (? some sort of straw-like thin shavings) pads, which were just so messy to clean the poop out of. Now with this great artificial grass, I just gently shake it off and done!And there's no gross smell left behind, like when the poop would sit on the straw overnight - I clean my boxes and coop daily, but still there was smell.Highly recommend!
