Vein Finder for phlebotomy suitable for All age with tourniquet and long battery backup

This vein finder is a great tool for phlebotomists of all levels of experience. It is easy to use and can help you find veins in patients of all ages, even those with difficult veins. The vein finder also comes with a tourniquet and seems to have a long battery life, so you can be sure you have everything you need for a successful procedure.

After about 2 years of infusions which have destroyed my veins, I have no veins left that are palpable or can be seen. The first time I used this vein finder, I could see multiple veins which were deeper and could not be localized by palpation. We got a large deep vein on the first stick with using the vein finder light. This thing is AMAZING!! I am a physician and a patient and not easily impressed, but I can honestly say I am impressed!! The only down side I can think of would be in a person with dark colored skin. It would be interesting if people would include their skin color in their review. My skin is very fair, which could be part of why is worked so well for me..

Only finds veins that are already palpable. Does not find veins in forearm. Only in the AC, back of hand, and wrist. So not very helpful.

My veins are invisible to mere mortal eyes.... and fingertips. Bookoo sticks MAY find a vein that works. I bought this vein finder myself because most dr. offices and hospitals are too cheap or proud to buy one. Now, it's one and done.....most of the time. I wish I could afford the green light one ($1600), but this one is lots better that an hour of "Ooops, sorry. Lets try the other arm."

Works in the dark not with the lights on

Has made my job much easier as an RN.

We can really see the veins and it is practical in some cases!
