My dog had a raw area on hit stomach from playing with his little brother. I wanted to try this before taking him to the vet. I put it on him as directed and it looked so much better in just a couple of hours. Definitely keeping this on hand.

Tried this product because my Puppies/ dogs kept being too rough and they would often end up with deep cuts and some times bites. It not only kept it clean over night there has been a noticeable difference in healing. Within a few days she was so much better.I have purchased 2 more to have on hand. Don't hesitate, GET IT!

I bought this product mainly because I liked the ingredients ... they are all organic and won't hurt your dog if he licks it off. I originally bought it to treat my dog Cooper's hot spots. Cooper has medium length fur so the salve wasn't a great idea. Sprays work better. The Puremedy DOES work, however, on Cooper's nose. He normally has a brown nose but recently the upper edge of his nose was khaki colored, hard and flaking. Unlike some remedies for dogs that are hard and not easy to apply, the Puremedy salve is more like a thin vaseline. It is easy to apply and as long as I apply it twice a day, Cooper's nose is just fine. This salve can be used for a multitude of problems including wounds, cuts, burns and insect bites.

My roommate uses it on her cats and herself so I purchased a jar for me and my cat. I haven't used it yet on my cat yet. However, I recently used this Veterinary Wound salve on my hand after I broke out from a rash while gardening and it helped with the healing process.
