I love it. Just remember to chill your cookie dough before you roll it out (to make sure the butter is not soft), and then when you are done, put the cookies (cut/rolled out) back into the freezer or refrig for about 30 minutes. You want the butter to be as hard as possible when you put the cookies into the oven to bake (so that the designs keep their shape. Then, you can eat and enjoy. Love it. I have like five of these, and have gifted them to friends.

Worked perfectly - I couldn't be happier with it! So glad I read reviews of other similar-looking but cheaper embossed rolling pins that people said did not work before buying. This one sure does! Created beautiful patterns on my Valentine's Day sugar cookies (recipe from "Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar"). I very rarely shop on Amazon, but I felt good knowing that this pin is made by a small design and manufacturing team in Lithuania that creates these beautiful and fun products. I can't wait to use this with different cookie cutters for different holidays!! :D

I use this for texture on my clay hand built projects. I love this pattern and use it more than any other texture tool I have at my disposal.

I used this pin for rolling out my plain sugar cookies. It made them look special for Christmas. I also used it to emboss the top crust on a pie. Awesome!

So beautiful I almost hate to use it-lol. Worked well on my cookie dough, wish I had taken pictures--next time. Got my eye on a few other designs. I just may start a collection, they're that gorgeous.

Very pretty texture roller, but not deep enough to thrill me. Designed for cookies, but also good for clay. Expensive.

Gifted my Baker daughter with this rolling pin. She lives the design. Can't wait for her to start using it. Look forward to many years of use as it is very sturdy!

This makes a beautiful design on cookies and pastry. People have been quite impressed with me. I thought the small width might be a problem, but it is actually helpful. There is a bit of a learning curve....you need to use a suitable dough for embossing....the surface of both the dough and the pin must be dusted with flour or cornstarch....enough to avoid sticking, but not so much to alter the crisp definition. I have found it useful to emboss the cookies as soon as they come out of the oven, rather than before they go in. If dough does get stuck in the embossing surface it is very difficult to clean without damaging the delicate engraving. I don’t want to use water as it will make the wood swell, and most brushes are too rough. I have settled on using an electric toothbrush and fast evaporating vodka.

Great quality! Delivery was quick, was a little smaller than expected, but will still get the job done!
