Country Companion for Cuba
Not only was this great on our trip but I gave it to our guide at the end who really appreciated not only the completeness of the map but also the ability to write on it and erase. I loved the fact that it never got wrinkly or wet on our many adventures, as well as keeping me (a bit geographically challenged) appraised as to where we were. Light and easy to use. Would highly recommend for a Cuba trip across the countryside.

Good sturdy plastic coated map for driving the entire country on a broad scale
Great map for overview but not enough detail.

Love my Borch Laminated Cuba map!
I've always enjoyed having a map of countries I'm touring. In the past I haven't liked the laminated maps because I couldn't write on them. However, I've discovered that I can use black permanent ink markers on them. Before the tour begins I've circled the towns we'll be staying in overnight and underlined towns we'll be viewing along the way and on side trips. I may take a red or orange marker along to mark special sites also.

Very useful, detailed map of Cuba
Easy to use and read.. The detail is very helpful, and the lamination makes it sturdy and long-lasting.

VERY USEFUL & DURABLE
Printed on tough, plastic coated stock, this is the map to have if you are studying or traveling to Cuba. Cheaper ones can be purchased on the island, but this is still the best.PAUL SCHUBERT

A very handy map.
I generally prefer something that has a smaller 'footprint' in hand, but I could not find anything such as the Knopf series of city maps for Copenhagen (even though this series is a reissue from a French series). Due to this, I have used this map. It is easy to read and is waterproof, which certainly is some help. The trade off is that while it weathers better in wind and rain and is more durable, it is also harder to fold other than in its pre-folded state and is harder to control without some supporting table on which one could place it. I have seen reviews of maps in this series noting that the maps are hard to read. Provided one can keep the map steady, there is no problem. The lack of annotations concerning details concerning sites of interest and eating places compared to the Knopf series works is somewhat missed. For travelling by foot, bike, car or rapid transit, this work is fine.

Very nice, up-to-date map
Very nice, up-to-date map! You can write on it with a sharpie, if necessary, but map is very durable.

Map of Cuba
The Borch series of travel maps are outstanding and precise in directions. If there are any discrepancies it's only because the demographics have change by road or village progress. An asset for any trip.
